"Girls weekend at the frozen lake. We stayed in Cabin 5 and absolutely loved it — four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a TV in every room, and a beautiful view of the lake. We’re already talking about coming back for our next getaway. We did have a minor issue with the fireplace (the previous occupants had turned it completely off), but the maintenance man came and figured out the problem quickly. Our interactions with the staff were great. Special shout out to Jonah in the restaurant. He makes super yummy cocktails and is a total sweetheart!! The food was great, the beds were comfy, and overall we had an amazing stay."

"I had booked through trip.com, it didn't give me the option to let them know we had a dog. So originally booked a 2 queen bed and 1 pull out couch Suite. We got there and they said the suite wasnt pet friendly so we got downgraded and had to get a cot and the room was smaller obviously but the room actually costed more with the $40 pet fee than the the price of the suite."

"Wir hatten einen Fabelhaften Urlaub am Wochenende auf Madden, und wir werden sicher wieder in diesem Sommer! Alles mit dem Personal, das wir getroffen haben, war sehr gut und super freundlich, darunter die Leute am Check-in-Desk, die wunderbaren Server, Amanda am Strand, die Bars am Poolbar, etc. Wir haben im Haupthotel geblieben und genossen Golf, Massage im Spa, im Außenpool und am Strand. Alles, was Sie brauchen, ist im Resort! Die Restaurants waren sehr beeindruckend mit qualitativ hochwertigen Menüartikeln und vielen, vielen Gluten-freien Optionen, die unsere Familie braucht. Unser Wochenende ist eine Familientradition, und wir sind sehr glücklich, dass wir hier in Minnesota so nett ein Resort haben."

"My family made vacation trips to Lost Lake pretty regularly when it was owned by Bill & Ethel Mae Carter decades ago. It was a quaint resort with meals and a dozen or so simple cabins and aluminum canoes and flat-bottomed john boats you could use to row around the little lake and maybe catch a few fish. The boat dock and canoes and rowboats that used to be on Lost Lake are all gone. I don't think visitors can go out onto the lake anymore. Today, the quaint old cabins are gone - bulldozed - and replaced by modern condos/duplexes, big enough to house a large family. One "lot" has a number of tree stumps on it and it looks like they're going to build still another unit there. Some of these condos/duplexes are for sale and some are already privately owned. There is quite a bit of paved parking now, especially near the largest condos/duplexes. The exterior style of the new condos does not match the color, size, or style of the main lodge or the original cabins. The main lodge still looks the same as it did when I was a kid. This is not the quaint, warm Lost Lake Lodge of my childhood. It does not feel like a resort anymore - it looks more like a small, modern housing development and I think that may be the owner's goal - to make a lot of money divvying up the property into lots, building condos on the lots, then selling them. Who knows? Maybe you'll like this new Lost Lake Lodge. For me, though, it has completely lost its vacation nature getaway feel. I certainly will never return. Peaceful? Solitude? If you can ignore the sounds of construction on the property and the construction noises. I think the rental cabins we discovered in Itasca State Park near Bemidji today show promise."

"Ich hatte trip.com reserviert, es gab mir nicht die Möglichkeit, ihnen zu erklären, dass wir einen Hund hatten. So ursprünglich reserviert 2 Queen Bett und 1 Couch Suite. Wir waren da und sie sagten, die Suite war nicht tierfreundlich, so dass wir uns abgradierten und eine Cott und das Zimmer war offensichtlich kleiner, aber das Zimmer hat tatsächlich mehr mit der $40 Haustiergebühr als der Preis der Suite gekostet."

"Hotelzimmer sind datiert Badezimmer hatten Form und Ruhe in ihnen Es wurde angekündigt, dass Frühstück wurde angeboten, und wir erwarteten ein warmes Frühstück mit vielleicht eine Küche oder Koch auf der Hand und irgendeine Art von Service, aber es war ein kontinentales Frühstück und wahrscheinlich die Das größte kontinentale Frühstück, das ich je genossen habe. Wenn man sagt, es war ein Hotel und kein Motel, würde man denken, dass man mehr für Ihr Geld bange,  Sie zahlen zweimal so teuer wie ein Super-Acht-Motel, und sie waren sicherlich nicht besser. Ich würde nicht noch einmal dort bleiben."

"Ich habe meine Familie in Madden gebracht, seit unsere älteste geboren wurde. Unsere Kinder sind 9 und 7 und es ist das Highlight ihres Sommers dorthin zu gehen. Einige Dinge, die wir von Madden lieben: - Personal ist erstaunlich freundlich und hilfreich. Wir lieben besonders das Personal an Mission Point, das immer Spezial essen macht (sicher, dass Sie Paul den Bartender treffen) - Essen ist fantastisch. Unsere Kinder lieben das Frühstücksbuffet, die Classic Grill (die Wahl meines Sohnes für seinen Geburtstag) und Mission Point. Der Eisbutz ist auch ein hit - Einrichtungen sind großartig. Die Pools sind wirklich nett, wie die Gegend des Tennisclubs. Die Zimmer sind wirklich nett. Unsere hatten einen Blick auf den Golfplatz und eine sehr geräumige Layout - Aktivitäten sind lustig. Dieses Jahr haben meine Kinder wirklich in die Medaillenjagd und die Jagd auf den Scavenger. Der Strand mit dem Wasserslide ist auch erstaunlich. Mein Sohn nahm eine Golfklinik und die Anweisung war absolut Top-Notch Wir suchen bereits nach Buch für den nächsten Sommer."
