Seacrest B&B

Pros: Well insulated, I either had quiet neighboring guests or the walls were super thick. Hostess is a delight, willing to let you stay past checkout in the common room and easy to chat about anything. Breakfast is excellent: French-pressed coffee and a traditional fry-up, but is willing to accommodate any tastes you might have that morning. Wifi was reliable during the whole stay. Con: Heating can be sporadic. Front door is unlocked but literally nothing happens on Inis Mor so I never felt unsafe. If you come in from the airport, a van will take you right to the B&B for 7.50 euros. Obviously close to what you need: The Bar and a Spar.

Stayed here over the weekend of Storm Kathleen in April 2024. Firstly, the location must be the best on the island, just two minutes walk from the harbour and most of the pubs and restaurants. More importantly the service here was simply unbeatable. The breakfast was among the best we have had and the host Geraldine was just brilliant. She kept us up to date with all of the travel info (because of the storm) and even made up a special drink for my wife to help her with travel sickness on the boat, seeing as our flight was cancelled. Deserves a sixth star, if that was possible.

The b&b is run by a charming local. It has a perfect location for right off the ferry. You can see the shops, get on a tour, get to the airport, rent bikes or kayaks. The accommodations are so clean and easy to use, everything you want in your own room. The downside is that throughout the night you will hear the door rattling, the guests going in and out, and then the pillows themselves are extremely hard which all accumulates into a lack of sleep which can be a damper on site seeing the following day. I recommend they fix these issues to make it more enjoyable.

Excellent stay, very comfortable, great location, spotlessly clean and very good breakfast. Geraldine is an excellent host and the continental breakfast was excellent and quite filling, a nice change from the full irish fry-up. Walking distance from the ferry, bike hire, bar, restaurant and shop.
