The place is located in a prime Carlton area where you can eat cuisine from different country every day..the place is safe and on until late night/ early morning..the place has a quirky decoration and has all amenities (in fact I liked how techenabled the rooms are). The rooms are very cleqn and are cleaned every day _ one day when it was accidently overlooked, the manager made a point to personally address the cleaning in evening when I returned to the room and brought this to his attention. Last but not the least, the coffee shop in the hotel is just great - you can have amazing coffee and brekkie b4 you start you day here. I would definitely be back to this place whn I m Melbourne,and would happily recommend this to others.

Friendly staffs and good environment.
Second time staying here after 2019. Still as good as before. Recommended if your are on a budget trip. Worth the price.

Habe diese Unterkunft in letzter Minute gebucht. Für die Lage ist es wirklich ein guter Preis. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Queen Victoria Market und die Straßenbahn in die Stadt ist nur einen Steinwurf entfernt.
Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber. Nichts zu bemängeln. Wenn ich pingelig wäre, könnte der Raum etwas heller sein.
Da der Check-in um 14 Uhr war, kam ich um 15 Uhr vorbei. Allerdings war das Zimmer erst um 18 Uhr fertig. Dies war ein wenig enttäuschend, da das Hotel Personalmangel hat. Ich bat um einen späteren Check-out, konnte dies aber nicht. Es wäre gut, wenn die Verwaltung das prüfen könnte.
Insgesamt eine sehr gute Erfahrung.

FFayrouz LisaI was honestly disappointed with my experience at this apartment. I booked for a whole week at this apartment, and on our second day in I explained to the reception that our fan for the shower and laundry wasn’t working. They had someone take a look twice; ans it wasn’t till my third reminder that they switched our room, and by that stage we only had 2 nights left of the week.
They do not offer any kind of room service for the entire week. We did have a washing machine and dryer, so we were able to wash towels, but a quick service/offer to replenish or change any necessities would have been appreciated.
Some of the items in the room really need replacing.
Like the rusted bins and the rusting chairs on the balcony.
The location is ‘okay’. If you only want food, chapel street in a short walk away. But if you want to be more central to the action, it’s a little far. Walk to Vic market about 7 mins, walk to Melbourne central about 11 minutes. If you’re taking public transport and carrying a lot of luggage, it’s not the most convenient place to get to.
Besides the above, the room was comfortable and spacious. Out balcony was nice, but not much of a view, unless you like people watching (watching tenants in the building across from you) or being watched.

GGastnutzerI had a reasonable stay at Carlton Lygon Lodge. The biggest positive is the location, which is very hard to beat. Right on Lygon Street (but at the, somewhat, quieter end) and just a 10-min walk to Brunswick/Fitzroy. The accommodation itself is okay, but could definitely be better. The room smelt quite a lot, for one. The decor is also pretty dated. And it was noisy late into weekend nights due to passing traffic (so I needed to wear my noise-cancelling headphones to get to sleep). The price is quite reasonable though and the staff are friendly and helpful, so this place could be a good option if you want a great location, plan to be out most of the time, and want to save on costs.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits vom Stadtzentrum, aber für diejenigen von uns, die die Stadt gerne an Fußspuren messen, sind wir nicht nur nach Chinatown gelaufen, sondern auch zum Wei Ma-Markt (ein Taxi kostet etwa 10 australische Dollar, genannt Didi 8 australische Dollar). Der Grund für den Flug zum Hotel ist sehr früh und ein früher Check-in ist nicht möglich. Dies ist nicht so flexibel wie inländische Hotels, die in Australien sehr verbreitet sind.

LLEIEs liegt in der Nähe der Food Street in Melbourne. Das Hotel ist das erste rote Restaurant hier. Leider mag ich kein westliches Essen und gehe nicht zum Spaß. Nach meiner Beobachtung gibt es nur wenige ausländische Hotels, die Schlange stehen, um das Hotel herum auszustatten. Es lohnt sich zu bleiben. Vor allem selbstfahrende Freunde.
