Die Lage ist wirklich gut, das Parken ist kostenlos. Das Hotel ist in einem sehr altmodischen Zustand, eine Renovierung ist erforderlich.

My accommodation was EXCELLENT! The location is incredible, next to the amazing carcavelos beach! Everything was perfect! Strongly recommend to visit the hotel!

The location is great close to the beach ( walking distance) and train station , the hotel could do with a bit of updating but it was a very good value for money, our room was good comfortable ( daily clean ) the breakfast is very good , Leo the manager was very helpful and very friendly.

This hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel. That rating is no longer accurate. It must have been a very long time ago that they received that rating from Turismo de Lisboa. It is now an old, tired hotel with minimal services. There is no gym and the pool was closed. With the exception of breakfast, there is no restaurant or room service. The bar is very limited. The rooms are very dated, with no safe and my single bed had a plastic mattress cover that made sleeping hot and strangely slippy, and my friend found a cockroach in her bathroom. There are some positives. The air conditioners are quiet. The shower, although in a bath with a curtain, was warm and powerful. Breakfast was quite good and the view from the 8th floor restaurant where breakfast is served is lovely. And the staff were all perfectly pleasant.

Well, as a well tired product, this hotel is a not go. The service fails, the breakfast was poor, the room was tired, housekeeping didn't even clean the room on a 2-night stay. This is a very bad hotel. I visited the hotel next door, the Riviera, which was priced at the same rate as this one, and there is no comparison. The Riviera hotel is so much better. I was hopping of being able to provide some of this details to the team on property, however, at check-out, the lady at the reception didn't even bother looking at me of even asking me "How was my stay". As I said, just book the other one - this is not any good hotel. I feel they have one more summer left before it gets so bad and no one will book them at all.

Clean but basic. Breakfast was good, plenty of options but the hotel is in desperate need of a refurb however if you want a clean, safe hotel that is located in a brilliant spot then this is for you! Two minute walk to a beautiful square full of restaurants and bars and easy walk also to the beach.

Ideally placed a very short distance from the expansion beach and a number of delicious local restaurants. Clean and basic the hotel is a little outdated with need for repair in many areas, if not done I can only predict further decay. The breakfast was OK, but nothing to get excited about. Still in early June the very inviting pool is not open, maybe still too cold, as over the last days the weather was quite wintery.

This is a lovely location on a wonderful beach. The property is tired though and the Wi-Fi doesn’t really work well in the rooms, neither does the power - not all of the sockets work, which makes it hard to charge anything. Staff and friendly and the pool is nice.

I’m surprised to see so many bad reviews for this hotel, it must have improved a lot in recent times. I found this hotel lovely and clean, staff were friendly and helpful. There is a great pool which goes all the way from 0.8m deep to 3.8 metres deep so good for everyone, and it even has a little diving board. There is a pool bar but unfortunately it was not open at the time of my visit, perhaps it will reopen in high summer. The restaurant is on the 8th floor with an amazing view of the sea to look out on while you have your free buffet breakfast. There could be a few extra amenities in the room like a kettle or a fridge but that wasn’t a major issue for me. The location is also great because it’s so close to a beautiful beach, it only takes a couple of minutes to walk there. There’s also plenty of restaurants and cafes near by. Overall a really good stay.

Despite all the negative reviews, decided to stay and see it for my self and I’m glad I stayed here. As far as the property goes, ok it is a little outdated: I would say that the A/C units gives the worst impression from the street. They are on each of the balconies for each room and looks and is rather rusty. It will look much better with some simple painting off all units or just all to be boxed in. Internally there are few corners in the lobby which needs a bit of a touch here and there. Nothing else. But other then that - all is rather good actually. Our room on the 6th floor was perfect. Room deco, painting was good. Yes it is a bit outdated , but hey it is still in great condition and it’s not like we are moving in to live here. With an exception of a in room safe ( if need, you have this behind the reception area) the Room has everything you need. It’s bathroom and room is very much so clean and so is the balcony. Beds were very comfortable and the ocean view is amazing. Rooms getting cleaned daily and the maids doing a great job - well done👍 On that note, towels and linen get changed daily. It would be good for hotel management to fallow suit and do what 80% of other hotels do. Do Not Change the towels and linen daily. Just let the customer decide. Many hotels have a note in the bathroom saying “ please help the environment and re use your towels. If you agree, keep them hanging on the hooks. If you wish us to replace them, please place them inside bath tub” Me and my family, we always use the same towels during our full stay. Same with linen …… why change it daily !! I mean, no one changes their linen at home daily or their towels for that matter. Why do so many people always expect for the hotel to change it ? Helping the environment goes a long way for the future. Restaurant is only open for breakfast and bar is closed. I’m guessing, this is due to massive shortages of staffing that Hospitality industry suffer from. The view from the Restaurant during Bfst is top…. No actually it is amazing. Ref to dining and the bar - there are ample restaurants and bars all over. Closest restaurants and bars, 3 minute walk behind the hotel in the Square…. Sorted Hotel Pool is massive and very clean (gets cleaned every morning) and is top - with 3.75m depth with a jumping board. It does start with 80 cm depth and at the other end it is at 3.75m. Amazing beach (5 min walk across the road), with nice restaurants, few small shops, beach umbrellas, Sandy beach, very clean waters and also daily beach guards on patrol. Now last but the best part, which is the most important for me. The Hotel staff & service: Absolutely amazing. From the maids we meet in the corridors to breakfast staff, to receptionists … etc - Nothing is too much for them. Ready to help and very friendly. I was in this hotel for the 5th time and i was suprised. Rooms are still the same; bed and shower are definitely ok. The view from your room (book a seaside room) is also the same and is breathtaking. The suprising thing was the breakfast; its ten times better than it used to be. And also the staff is very friendly and very helpfull (especially Sophia). People complaining there is no hotel bar should go out and walk 50 meters; just round the corner of the hotel there is a nice square with plenty of restaurants and bars. Any criticism? Yes, the CEO of the hotel refuses to repair the elevator and main entrance, which is not comfortable. Will i come back? Definitely.
