Hotel Orso Bruno

We have just returned from 4 nights at Hotel Orso Bruno, travelling as a family of 4 and couldn't have had a more wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived through to going home, the friendly and personal service we received from all of the team was just amazing, our every need was met and everyone went out of their way to assist and help us have the most fantastic holiday. As a family of 4, with girls aged 13 and 9, we had 2 rooms and both were great, very comfy and extremely clean. We ate in the hotel's onsite restaurant at both breakfast and dinner times and again, the level of service, choice and standard of food was absolutely outstanding - not forgetting the stunning views from your table out over the lake. Located literally just 20 footsteps from the ferry stop, to allow you to navigate your way around the lake, this hotel simply has everything you need for a great stay. For us, the best thing however was the team that own and run Hotel Orso Bruno, they are all outstanding. Thank you again to everyone there for helping us have an unforgettable stay, something that will stay long in the memory for us and our girls

Our recent stay at Hotel Orso Bruno was an absolute delight. We booked a family room with a lake view, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, perfect for our family, with one comfortable double bed and two single beds for the kids. We appreciated the fact that the free WiFi worked seamlessly across multiple devices, which kept everyone connected during our stay. The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking views of Lake Como. Whether it was breakfast or dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, the scenery was simply stunning. It's rare to find a place where you can enjoy your meal with such incredible views. The breakfast was continental, but the team was kind enough to go the extra mile and offer to make me an omelette with toast, which I really appreciated. The location of Hotel Orso Bruno is another standout feature. The hotel is situated right across from the ferry stop, making it incredibly convenient to explore the surrounding areas. Whether we wanted to visit Bellagio or Como, the ferry was just a few steps away. If you're planning on heading to Bellagio, keep in mind there are two ferries available, so be sure to ask the hotel staff or check the ferry timetable in advance. Now, I have to talk about the staff, who really made our stay feel special. They treated us like family and took excellent care of me and my children. My son has specific dietary requirements due to allergens, and the way the staff catered to his needs was beyond amazing. I want to give a special thanks to Samuele and Antonia, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made all the difference, and we are so grateful for their efforts. Antonia, thank you especially for all your help — you truly made us feel at home. In summary, Hotel Orso Bruno is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Lake Como with the comfort of a welcoming atmosphere. The combination of spacious, clean rooms, stunning views, and exceptional staff made our stay one to remember. We’ll definitely be returning and can’t recommend this hotel enough!

We absolutely loved this hotel. The owners and all of the staff were wonderful. We ate at the restaurant two times and the food was delicious! We can’t wait to come back next year…this time we are staying longer. Thank you for making the end of our trip so memorable.

What a charming little gem of a hotel facing Lake Como! Super wonderful staff, nice clean room facing the lake with a balcony to enjoy the views, and even breakfast on. The Restaurant in house is quite delicious also. Everything is house made there also! A recommend for sure!

Amazing staff, amazing views. Three restaurant nearby, pier in front of the hotel and bus stop too. It is tricky to get around yhe bus and boat situation but i would stay here again 1000 times
