Weidendall

Cozy place, clean rooms, fantastic staff. Cannot emphasize enough how friendly and accommodating the staff here are! Stayed two nights, on the second night the staff continued letting us have beverages and play cards well after the restaurant closed.

We often come to this classic restaurant as we enjoy the traditional ambience, the excellent "cuisine française", the friendly service and the welcoming owner/"patronne"! On Sunday, the restaurant was fully booked, most guests enjoyed the well served, delicious and tasty game dishes (ragoût de biche, filet mignon de biche aux deux sauces, ...). Excellents plats de gibier/tolle Wildgerichte. Large choice of wines, the Lux. Pinot noir, recommended by Madame was a good match with the deer mignon. The "tarte fine aux pommes with vanilla icecream" as dessert is to recommend. From the complimentary "mise en bouche" to the dessert everything is house made and not reheated industrial food like in many restaurants in Luxembourg. Value for money. During weekdays the restaurant offers a very interesting lunch deal (menu du jour). Table reservations are a good idea. See you soon, à bientôt, bis bald

Located in a small village (Kopstal) 10 km from Lux.city. Free parking. In Luxembourg PT is free for everybody, so park your car and use the free bus to join the city centre This review is about the restaurant: tasty, honest food/cuisine française and good servings for a correct price. Ambience is clean & classic. Recommend the "menu du jour", lunch special /3 courses, for 20 Euros!! Weekends "menu du marché" etc available. Reservations are a must.

Posizione buona, Kopstal è una cittadina a dieci minuti da Lussemburgo (capitale) e lungo la strada per Vianden...struttura dotata di diversi parcheggi liberi e gratuiti nelle vicinanze. Camera spaziosa, luminosa, ben arredata e pulita, dotata di bollitore e cialde di caffè. Possibilità di fare il checkin autonomamente tramite secure Key, quindi comodo perche si può arrivare a qualsiasi ora. Accesso alle camere un po' scomodo, c'è una scalinata stretta e ripida, e non c'è l'ascensore. La cosa peggiore è un forte odore di spezie che si sente in stanza H24, probabilmente causato dal fatto che c'è la cucina dell'annesso ristorante, con porta sempre aperta, proprio sotto le camere. Inoltre il bagno era un po' "trasandato". Prezzo a mio avviso leggermente alto rispetto alla qualità offerta.

Hele vriendelijke mensen. kamerdeur was in het slot gevallen en door een lege batterij van het elektrische slot niet meer te openen. Ze hebben er alles aangedaan zodat we bij onze spullen kwamen. Tijdens het wachten voorzien van drinken etc. Verder erg vriendelijk persoonlijk en het ontbijt was heerlijk. We willen snel nog is terugkomen. Echt een aanrader!
