The Carroll Villa Hotel

Such a beautiful place to stay. Rooms are beautiful and cozy. Restaurant is in the hotel which offers generous portions of food. A $30 credit is offered with your room which pays for the breakfast/lunch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cute bar on premises with live music. Worth the stay.

Carroll Villa has become our go-to spot in Cape May. The hospitality at the hotel is excellent; all the staff are very nice, accommodating, and helpful. The building itself is pretty old...I think built in the 1880s. So naturally, there are some nits that you wouldn't see in a more contemporary building. There are areas where the floors definitely lean one way, but I thought it all added to the character of our stay. The parlor was well kept, and it looks like it had been recently painted. Our room overall was nice...perfect size for a couple, and very comfortable considering the weather was pretty cold the weekend we visited. The bathroom appears to be recently renovated, and it had heated tile floors, which is a nice touch in the cold weather!! The bed was comfortable, and neither of us had any issues getting a decent sleep. Having the Mad Batter restaurant attached to the hotel is a nice bonus. The food and service there is excellent; we actually ate there three times during our stay. I'd definitely recommend this place to a friend and would certainly return for another visit.

We have been here many times over the years and we just love it! This year we brought friends for their first Cape May visit. The amenities are generous like food voucher for breakfast and 30% off dinner entrees. Such a delight. We will be back next February for a Valentines Day celebration!
