The wife and I enjoyed our weekend. We enjoy the breakfast choices. We have stayed on both sides of the hotel. Every thing is always clean. Our last stay the bathroom appeared to been recently updated. There covid protocol I think is highly respected. They even provide masks in the room. Every thing was in baggies and well labeled. I recommend anyone to stay here. If you want the Victorian feel with modern amenities in the heart of town this is your place.

My husband and I have come to the carroll villa for his july birthday for the past 4 years. We always have a lovely time, and it is the best bang for your buck. 30 dollars off breakfast at the hottest spot in town is wonderful! Plus, as guests you don’t have to wait in that crazy line that runs down the street to get it. 30 percent off dinner is equally wonderful; food is delish and the waitstaff is above and beyond! Also, being between the mall and the beach, we park our car and forget it for the remainder of our stay. Did I mention free parking!? The free beach passes save the hassle, and I love showing up at the beach and having my umbrella and chairs set up for me. Everything is so convenient, and the staff is fabulous. In this age of airbnb, it is nice be taken care of. Who really wants to cook snd clean on vacation anyway?? I are am sure we will be back next year! Thanks for a lovely visit. Came down for a 3day weekend with the family. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are so charming. Can’t beat the location and food in their restaurant. It is literally a block away from Washington square where there is great shopping and a block from the beach!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Rooms are beautiful and cozy. Restaurant is in the hotel which offers generous portions of food. A $30 credit is offered with your room which pays for the breakfast/lunch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cute bar on premises with live music. Worth the stay.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay as we rang in the New Year, have stayed a couple few times over the years and always a great experience. Everyone there from the hotel staff and Mad Batter staff are friendly and accommodating, there’s nothing like coming down from your room in the morning to the best breakfast in Cape May! Great location and one of the landmark businesses that help make Jackson Street a place you won’t forget. We were also fortunate enough to have dinner and drinks at the Cricket Club, again great staff, meal and location!

Check-in was easy. We even asked to add another night. The room was sparkling clean, all the essentials were full. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend it and would go back again!

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Carroll Villa right after Christmas. We were in room 1. The room was very pretty and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our room was quiet. We will definitely be back for another visit. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The Carroll Villa is central to everything. We were able to park our car and walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We ate breakfast in the Mad Batter every morning. The breakfast was incredible!

The room was nice and comfortable however the dinner was very disappointing to say the least. No flavor at all, although breakfast was good but the dinner was a big disappointment and the waiter wasn’t attentive and cordial. I wish I would have gone somewhere else to eat. Also the young man with long black hair at the front was extremely rude, he tapped my husband’s shoulder instead of saying excuse me. I will not be back to Carrolls Villa. Customer service and friendly attentive employees is a must for me and I didn’t get that.

The room is always perfect. The staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive. All you need to do is contact them if there is anything you need while staying there. Food at the Mad Batter is top notch, very reasonable and a lot of food for the price.
