Wir waren im Oktober hier für 11 Tage, hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick direkt über der Bühne in der 2. Etage. Der Meerblick ist zu jeder Zeit großartig. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, mit Doppelbett, Flachbildfernseher, kleiner Garderobe und Schrank mit Schiebetüren sogar recht gemütlich. Die Klimaanlage lässt sich individuell einstellen oder auch komplett ausschalten. Auf dem Balkon sind zwei Stühle und ein kleiner Tisch. Da man die Glasfront nicht mit Handtüchern oder anderer Wäsche behängen soll, ist auf dem Balkon ein kleiner Wäschetrockner an der Wand angebracht. Sehr zweckmäßig! Leider ist der Balkon abends recht hell beleuchtet, so dass ein gemütliches Beisammensein im Kerzenschein nicht möglich ist. Negativ im Zimmer finde ich die Glasschwingtür zum Badezimmer. Sie ist nicht zu verriegeln. Beim Frühstück blieben keine Wünsche offen; das Abendessen konnten wir nicht beurteilen. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich, jedoch nicht aufdringlich. Perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in diesem Hotel, bei dem es nur ganz wenig zu meckern gab und auch nur, wenn man danach sucht. Selten haben wir in Europa so zuvorkommendes Personal erlebt wie hier. Sehr gefreut haben wir uns über das Upgrade zum direkten Meerblick. Ein Traum! Und der Unterschied zum seitlichen Meerblick ist riesig! Weitere Pluspunkte: - Sauberkeit - Ruhe und gute Betten - Dusche mit Blick aufs Meer - toller Beachpoint, allerdings gegen Aufpreis, doch dort ist man ungestört und ausreichend Abstand - reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet in sehr guter Qualität - viele gute Restaurants wenige Schritte entfernt - direkte Strandlage - schöne Balkone - sehr faire Preise in der Bar und leckere Snacks - gute Auswahl an Livemusik Kleine Mankos: - nur ein Ablagefach im Schrank. Da hat nicht mal das Gepäck einer Person Platz. - keine Ablage für die Koffer. - aufgrund der strengen Reglementierungen am Pool sollte das Personal noch strenger durchgreifen bei den Handtuchblockierern. Sie sagen, dass nach 20 Minuten die Handtücher entfernt werden, doch in der Praxis wurde es kaum angewendet, was die anderen Poolgäste frustriert, die sich daran halten. Wir haben mehrfach daraufhingewiesen… - recht hohe Gebühren für den Beachpoint - Aufpreis für Latte Macchiato oder Cappuccino beim Frühstück - könnte durch einen Milchaufschäumer an der Kaffeemaschine gelöst werden. This is a welcoming and well-run hotel, just 5 minutes walk away from the beach. We went for the ‘half board’ option, which includes a buffet style breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is the same every day, and offers a wide selection of both hot and cold food, whilst the dinner changes every night. Have stayed quite a few hotels that provide a similar service and it must be said that the food here is a lot better than other hotels we have been to. The hotel facilities are clean and new (as it only opened in May) and it offers two pools to swim in, as well as a fairly well stocked gym. There were a couple small downsides, these being: 1. The toilet is small, and only behind blurred glass, so you’ll have limited privacy. This wasn’t too much of a problem as my partner and I live together anyway, but if you were a new couple (or something else) it could be a bit awkward. 2. There was one unhelpful staff member at front desk who didn’t really try to help when I mentioned to him we were confused about how our transfer works (as it wasn’t booked properly by our package provider). We had to come back later to ask someone else, who then went out of their way to help us sort it out. However, I have to say that every other staff member we met over the time we stayed were amazing, so this was just a one off. Overall, a really pleasant stay and would be very happy to come back here.

- Service: Despite being marketed as a high end esort, the service provided is reminiscent of a three-star hotel at best. Communication was extremely poor, and as a client, I felt neglected and disoriented. Very bad communication before the start. Only received the programme 3 days before arriving with schedule inconsistent with my departure times. - Boarding Experience for Kids: My kids were utterly dissatisfied with their stay. The guardians assigned were not only disorganised but also lacked the warmth and cordiality expected in such roles. Much to my dismay, most kids were excessively engaged with their mobile phones rather than participating in activities. -Programs and Activities: The camp seems to offer nothing beyond tennis, with no provisions for additional activities or events to foster a sense of community. This lack of support resulted in my children frequently seeking refuge with me instead of enjoying their time at the camp. - Facilities: Although aesthetically pleasing, the layout of the residence is a convoluted labyrinth. To reach my room required an excessive amount of navigation which felt very inefficient. - Staff and Management: The operations appear to be disorganised, hinting at a need for professional hotel management. Moreover, the reception staff was the epitome of rudeness and lacked professional decorum. - Room and Laundry Services: The rooms were satisfactory but constantly filled with noise from outside corridors and ongoing tennis matches outside. Additionally, the laundry service was inconveniently slow and required me to collect my laundry from reception. - Food and Healthcare: The restaurant options and food quality were average, but a serious concern arose when my son suffered from food poisoning. The advertised nurse, who should be an essential presence considering the nature of the camp, was inconsistently available and only on site from 12.30 am. -Tennis Lessons: The coaching was satisfactory but certainly not extraordinary. I expected more professional interaction and advice, not what I could receive from any ex-pro in a local club. Furthermore, the lack of social activities led to repetitive training sessions with the same partners. -Children's Experience: My children, despite being in different age groups and levels, mirrored my feelings of dissatisfaction and stagnancy. The inability to progress in their game was a significant drawback. -Leadership: I expected the presence of more experienced coaches, instead of young, inexperienced staff members. Unfortunately, the involvement of lead coaches, let alone Toni Nadal, was visibly absent. - Location: Manacor, the host town, was underwhelming with not much to offer culturally or aesthetically, thus providing little to no external engagement. In conclusion, the Rafa Nadal Camp and Residence proved to be an unprofessional, disorganised, and inefficient experience. I want to mention that it is not my habit to make this type of “criticism”. I usually choose not to consider the less good things and praise the positive things (the few reviews I've made prove it). However, this time the negligence of the hotel was abusive. Due to my profession, I am well aware that problems, in any business, can happen at any time. What counts is the solution we present, or the commitment and professionalism we dedicate to trying to solve these problems. In this case there was minimal commitment and zero professionalism. I'm sure the hotel will certainly have excellent rooms (judging by the reviews I've read), with amazing conditions, but the room I'm talking about is not one of those. What I report is my personal experience, based on facts (I have photos), it is not a mere opinion of a purely subjective nature. Room 01 that we were assigned does not correspond to the one offered in the reservation. The room they gave cannot be considered a standard quality room for a 4* hotel in this part of the world. I have a lot of experience in different types of accommodation throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. I know what I’m saying. I could talk about the fact that the room is not in the hotel itself, but by a external access. I could talk about the fact that the door reader does not work, it is necessary to use a key and it is necessary to “fight” with the door to open. Wir hatten einen Flachbild-TV und einen Ventilator. Das komfortable Bett und mehrere Kissen. Wir hatten eine Terrasse mit einem Tisch, zwei Tisch und einem Tisch, um zu bekommen.
