I checked into the Holiday Inn Express in Carrollton, KY after 5pm and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and smoothly check-in went. The front desk staff greeted me with a smile and had me on my way to my room in just a few minutes, which I appreciated after a day of travel. The hotel has a clean, modern vibe in the public spaces — everything looked well-kept and tidy, from the lobby to the hallways. My room was clean and comfortable, but honestly pretty standard. Nothing jumped out as particularly memorable, but it got the job done. The bed was decent and I slept fine, which is really all I needed for this trip. The biggest downside for me was the price. For what the room offers — just the basics — it felt a little steep. That said, prices in the area seemed generally high, so I don’t blame the hotel too much for that. If I needed a place to crash in Carrollton again, I’d consider coming back, especially for the convenience and friendly service.

Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms. Laundry service was out of order. Breakfast was some of the worst I've had. Coffee was barely warm, juice machine was out of order, pancake machine was out of order, the rest of the hot food didn't look appealing. For the price I paid, all of facility should be in working order.

The Holiday Inn Express was excellent. The breakfast was incredible and the staff were wonderful. The hotel was obviously renovated recently, and you could tell! It was very nice. I will most definitely stay here again when I am back in town.

I stayed in the IHG property while in the area for business. This hotel is a blend of an older style with some updates. The rooms are relatively clean, and the staff do their best to keep all areas of the hotel as clean as they can. My room for the most part was clean with some minor stains on the carpet. The bathroom was spotless and the room wifi was easy to connect to and had a good signal that allowed me to surf, stream and connect to work through a VPN. The fitness centre is small and cramped and lacks modern equipment. Some of the machines were out of service during my stay. The dial for the heating and AC unit was broken and the TV had limited channels. The breakfast is standard IHG Holiday food which they change up daily offering hot and cold choices ei. bacon one day and sausage and gravy the next. Overall this hotel could use a modern renovation but it's okay for s short stay.

This is the most comfortable place I’ve stayed in a long time the rooms are so nice and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful they even bake fresh cookies every night love this place located just of route 71 north east of Louisville The Breakfast is great cool breakfast anything you can expect to have at home and it taste like home cooking it’s my pressure in the morning there’s always coffee in the lobby if you’re a business person and you need to use the computer there’s one. You in the lobby as well
