Hotels mit Pools in Camiguin

Meine Eltern genossen die Ruhe im Jugendstil. Alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und das Design ist gut durchdacht. Meine Nichte war von der von Nouveau vorbereiteten Geburtstagsüberraschung begeistert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ende Januar/ Anfang Februar haben mein Mann und ich 12 Tage im Balai sa Baibai verbringen dürfen. Das Ressort ist mit 7 Unterkünften klein und extrem fein. Es wird schnell klar, dass Alessandra und Roman, die Ressort und Tauchbasis managen, alles mit viel Leidenschaft und Herzblut aufgebaut haben. In unserem gemütlichen und liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer am Pool haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten wunderbar schlafen. Alle Einrichtungen im Ressort sind gepflegt und sauber. Es wird viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. So gibt es z.B. Shampoo und Duschgel im Badezimmer in nachfüllbaren Spendern, Butter und Marmelade auf kleinen Tellern und Wasser wird in Karaffen, nicht in Plastikflaschen angeboten. Roman, der die Tauchbasis leitet, hat für uns wunderbare Tauchgänge arrangiert und die Bootscrew hat alles getan, damit wir uns wohlfühlten. Kamen wir morgens an die Basis, war unsere Ausrüstung schon fertig und an Bord. Täglich gab es für jeden Taucher einen Beutel mit frischem Handtuch und Wasser (in nachfüllbaren Alutrinkflaschen). Zwischen den Tauchgängen wurden wir mir Kaffee, Tee, Keksen und frischem Obst verwöhnt. Die Guides haben uns mit hervorragenden Ortskenntnissen die Besonderheiten der Unterwasserwelt von Camiguin gezeigt. Und da gab es einiges zu entdecken. Als Gäste mit Halbpension kamen wir in den Genuss, von Alessandra und ihrem Team bekocht zu werden. Wir hatten die Qual der Wahl zwischen mehreren Gerichten, die täglich wechselten und am lokalen Angebot ausgerichtet waren, auszusuchen. Alessandra legt dabei viel Wert auf gesundes Essen und backt sogar das Brot selber. Auf der Homepage des Balai sa Baibai waren uns vorher schon die Bilder von wunderschön angerichteten Tellern aufgefallen. Jetzt wissen wir: Die Arrangements der Speisen sind nicht nur für die Site erstellt worden. Unser Essen hat wirklich so ausgesehen Und phantastisch geschmeckt. Jeden! Tag! Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Balai sa Baibai und bedanken uns noch einmal bei dem wundervollen, immer freundlichen und aufmerksamen Team, das dies für uns möglich gemacht hat.

Gute Atmosphäre und erstaunliche Aussichten. Gutes Essen und sehr geräumiges Zimmer. Sehr nett und aufmerksames Personal. Liebe unsere Zeit und wird sicherlich wieder besuchen. Wir werden es unseren Familien und Freunden teilen, zu kommen und Bintana sa paraiso zu besuchen. Was für eine tolle Erfahrung für uns für unser Geburtstag.

We had a very relaxing stay at this place. The staff service is superb from our arrival to departure. We rented the upper unit and the view from the room balcony is stunning- you can see White island. They have a pool, a basketball ring, several spots for photos for your Insta and a separate building to eat and chill. However, it was too cold during the time we went there so we did not use the pool, but that's fine. Staff are very courteous and would ask us if we had eaten yet (when arriving from our daily trips in the city center at night). Food is reasonably priced, delicious and they give generous portions. We only ate breakfast there since we were in the city proper for lunch and dinner. You could also opt to have your food and drinks delivered in your balcony. They also have a bar- I ordered the Espresso Martini and it was delicious. Wifi is strong- they have Starlink and even though there were times the electricity was out (they have a generator though), Wifi connection was there. We worked a bit during the nights we stayed there and the Wifi was strong, especially in the balcony. It fogged 3 out of 4 days that we stayed there and it feels like we are in Baguio haha. We did not use the AC in the room because it was already cold. The bathroom was also very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Going to the location would take us 15-20 mins via rented motor, just be careful with the road since there are many curves, foggy road, but overall, okay. Also, we went there Dec 2024 and it gets dark very quickly at night so if you are from the city, be sure to go to Paraiso by 5:30 pm since the road going there is not lighted. Road is also passable via car since we passed some on the road. They have parking for your car and motor also. Going there, you can pass by Utopia Cafe and beyond the road from Bintana sa Paraiso is Nanaw Cafe- good food also. Overall, a very recommended place if you want to relax in Camiguin. Shoutout to the front desk manager -Jayr and the other staff for inviting us to their Christmas party- VERY FUN!

After checking maybe all beachfront resorts, I can say with confidence that this is the best place to stay on the island, surely for the midrange resorts! As I travel most of the time, I already know the feeling when I arrive to a place and I just feel that it’s the perfect place for me. There are several types of Nipa bungalows, differ in sizes but they are all beautiful, well attended and maintained, tastefully decorated, comfortable and inviting. Every small detail in the bungalows shows the touch of love from the owners. The bungalows are apart from each other and you have your privacy in the tranquil atmosphere of the beautiful garden nestled in the beautiful nature of Camiguin. The kind, lovely and most helpful owners (Ilenia and Stefano), live here and that for sure makes the whole difference. The Italian restaurant on the premises, serves delicious Italian food and home made pastry in a quality that surely is very hard to achieve in such a remote island- but they do it in every single meal again and again. When I finish my day of traveling and feel so happy to come back to my amazing bungalow, I know that I found “my place” and that it will be hard to leave until the next time I’ll surely come back. True, it’s not a beach front resort and that’s the reason that I checked almost all beach front resorts on the island, but comparing to the beach front options that I saw, I had no doubt that Nipa style resort, is the best choice. Driving the rented motorbike, will take me anywhere and any beach or waterfall and ocean view in the island. And anyhow, the beauty of the island is superb, but the beaches are not the main reason to come to this island (not the best beaches in the Philippines), but the overall beauty, good vibe and uniqueness of this volcano island, is what makes it so special and enjoyable. As I said, for me, there is not really a doubt that it’s the best place to stay in Camiguin! Thank you Ilenia, Stefano and the team of the resort, for such a great time in your amazing place 🙏🙏

Es war ein schöner Urlaub wieder hier in Camiguin und wo die Wahl, in mabini Unterkunft zu bleiben, alles ist absolut perfektes Personal ist freundlich und untergebracht sowie gute Atmosphäre und klassische Zimmer !!! Alles, was ich sagen kann, war schön zu bleiben in mabini-Unterkunft!!! Ich und mein Partner war so sehr genossen zu bleiben an Ort danke!!!
