Simple but nicely appointed chalet style rooms. Only stayed one night but it was comfortable and convenient. A few minutes drive into Cambridge, which is an unexpectedly charming country town with very good restaurants. Highly recommend the smokehouse.

Very disappointed as seemed like a lovely place to stay. On arrival the room did not smell nice at all...... will not go into that. The Wi-Fi didn't connect to my husband's phone and only connected for a few seconds to my phone. We didn't get the room we thought we were getting either. We were booked into the Orient room and ended up in the Eastern room. There is no iron or ironing board, so spent the day in a very creased linen shirt that looked like I had slept in it.

Lovely rooms, clean, furnished with small refrigerator, electric kettle and a few dishes/cutlery/ tea and coffee. The grounds are nicely landscaped. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location if going to Rotorua or Hobbiton. Definitely would recommend!

Nice greeting and lovely scenery although not alot of privacy if someone staying next door, can see walking past or hear them on yr patio as close by. Nice bed, bedding and some luxurious things but some furniture worn and needs replacing so we wouldn't call it luxury.

Excellent location, very friendly and quiet. Accommodation is of the high standards - Due to location, this being in the Countryside, very peaceful. Highly recommended. A car is a MUST or 30/45 mins walk to Cambridge- taxis unreliable! Overall my stay was excellent. The grounds of the Accommodation are well maintained and awesome for people who love a stroll. A very romantic setting.

This was a very comfortable cottage in a rural setting just out of town. The cottages located close to the main house open onto a lovely garden. Checking in was easy and the staff very helpful. The only criticism we had was that the lighting in the bathroom was a little poor.

Unit is private and comfortable. Good bed and facilities. Smart decor. No fuss greeting etc But the road noise is intrusive and the unit even shuddered from passing truck a few times in the evening and morning. Fridge sounds like someone snoring at night. Definitely a once only visit.

Certainly not Stunning Boutique Accommodation in our view. While the setting is pleasant enough the cottage and grounds needs simple maintenance - we expect light bulbs for example in all fittings and a clean dish cloth - not an old ratty thing which looks to have been used by plenty ahead of us. These things are not hard to fix and at $185.00 per night we were disappointed.

We arrived with no booking but we were able to get a room. Room was themed (Bali Room) and suited its theme. Comfortable and spacious. Lovely setting in the country yet so close to town. Everything you could need for a night stay was provided. Would recommend.
