Colonial Court Motel

The 3 things that let this motel down are the Beds the Wifi and the TV. We had a room with a queen & single and it was just to small for our height and way to bouncy. Even though they say they have Sky Tv it does have some channels but no Sky remote and no guide so you don't know what is on at any given time and the TV is so slow to use. The WiFi is not really fast or unlimited either. On arrival you are given a few tokens, each token is 3Gigs after that you have to keep topping up all the time which is beyond irritating and then once outer tokens you go up to reception and ask for more. There was no fire alarm in our room which was concerning and the motel does not have any Air Con apart from a pedestal fan and an electric heater. The wooden blind over the kitchen window was a bit iffy and didn't work properly which was a pain. On the plus side this motel is lovely and quiet and the rooms are a good size but it didn't have a table to sit at if you wanted to sit together and have dinner or play cards etc only a small bench and chairs. The pool is great and we loved a swim in it, its over 6 feet deep at one end and shallow at the other and a good length. The grounds are lovely and well kept and there were areas where you could enjoy a drink in the sun at a table.

I booked six rooms and we stayed here in Feb and again in March. We will stay here again, the rooms were great, amenities were good and the hosts were fantastic. The motel is a bit out of town centre but nothing a brisk walk didnt fix. We would recommend this motel without hesitation.
