I travel for work playing music, so most of our year is spent in hotels. One of the things that I have missed for the last few years is the level of hospitality and serene settings of most of our accommodations in Europe. Kyriad hotel was no exception. Our hosts made us feel welcomed, and greeted us with kindness. The entire property is surrounded by a myriad of flowers and shrubs, all very well cared for, making for a beautiful morning in their outdoor lounging/breakfast area. Before leaving, our hosts found pictures of our band, and requested autographs from all of us. They made us feel like Led Zeppelin, but we are just a small band from New Orleans. We booked this hotel as an overnight stop on our route from Scotland to the south of France so we had no expectations. The hotel is in a retail park which is quite strange. The reception is also closed for several hours during the day so when we arrived we couldn’t get in initially. There was a number to phone but no one answered it. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. The rooms are a bit dated and could use updating however they were spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The AC worked very well. We used the spa on arrival which was absolutely lovely after a very long day of driving. The spa was clean and relaxing. I can’t comment on food as we didn’t have any during our stay. Overall, a nice overnight stop.

Absolut wunderschöner Ort. Wählen Sie ein Zimmer, das für Ihre Preisspanne geeignet ist. Hier geblieben während der Reise zum Arbeiten, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Zimmer war schön und teuer. Buffet Frühstück war erstaunlich!! So viel Sorte und leckere Croissants. Würde jemanden empfehlen, zu bleiben wünschen wir mehr Zeit hier mit besseres Wetter, um besser zu erkunden

As the title suggests, we used this as a Base to explore the Somme. Well priced for the quality of the hotel. The rooms were a decent size and had everything you need, but feels a bit tired and could do with a bit of a face lift. The staff are really friendly and helpful, but they are run ragged at busy times, trying to run reception, the bar, and serve in the restaurant, mostly with only two of them. We ate in the restaurant at the hotel one night, it was okay but not great. Breakfast was your standard continental, with scrambled eggs and bacon, but they rellay seemed to struggle keeping food topped up and busy times.
