Hotels in der Nähe von Pointe du Grand Gouin, Camaret-sur-Mer

Pointe St-Mathieu has a very end of the world feel, and it is not called Finistere for nothing. The Hostellerie de la Pointe St-Mathieu is very modern and we were in a well-appointed Superior Double room with windows on three sides [#6], which was 159 euros plus breakfast at 24 euros pp [£181 in total for B&B]. They have both a Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant and their Bistrot 1954; however since the former was closed the night we were there, we ate in the latter. Parking is under the hotel with a Tesla destination charger (both payable) or in the large public car park opposite. We charged at Brest so we choose the latter. Our room was very modernist [read: trendy] and seemed curiously clinical and not especially homely. The duvet had obviously been specified for when the temperatures are sub-zero, and our (north-facing?) balcony must be a chocolate teapot nine months of the year (including now). The room was a bit hot and stuffy and when we mentioned this on checkout they breezily told us that all the rooms in that wing had that problem. So fix it! The food in Bistrot 1954 was not bad and we both had their 35 euro menu. We ended up drinking all wines by the glass, which we thought were good value. Dinner came to 105 euros [£92]. Can't comment on the gastronomic restaurant, which we would have eaten in had we not mucked up the dates (closed Mondays). The breakfast was a highlight, with a great spread, plus great fried eggs and bacon. Would we stay here again? Unlikely, having now been to this windswept corner of France. But it is probably a great place to stop for lunch if you are touring Brittany.

Stopped here two nights in August while we visited Brest. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. It was the hottest week of the year, reaching 35 degrees, and the air-conditioning was very welcome. Breakfast is traditional continental and tasty. Reception is not manned all the time but there is a vending machine for drinks and snacks. The only downside was it took a while to book in and open the car park gate as there was no one to ask. The car park is safe and secure, we were on motorbikes so we were very glad of this. It is only 5 minutes walk to the harbour with lots of cafe's and restaurants. The town centre or Oceanopolis (see other review) are a taxi ride, or you could take the hop on/hop off bus. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel würde zwar eine gute Innenkühlung benötigen, die Möbel würden gewinnen, aber da das weiß, kann nichts über die Ankunftsbegegnung, das sehr richtige Frühstück, die Situation (ein wenig exzentriert, Ein Aufzug würde das Hotel für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität leichter zugänglich machen. Einige Anregungen: Festere Ohrringe, mehr ”klassische” Tee für das Frühstück.

Renoviertes oder sehr neues Hotel , modernes Deco, das Ihnen einen Aufenthalt in der Stadt gibt. Das Personal ist diskreten, aber effizient. Beraten Sie für Kurse in Brest, weil es im Zentrum ist und vor allem von der Tram A, die die ganze Stadt serviert. Trotz des ersten Eindrucks ist die Gegend schließlich ruhig. Das Frühstück ist gut und vor allem vor allem mit Produkten aus der Region, also ist es gut, zu beachten, echte gepresste Orangensaft, und natürlich Bretagne zwingt, Sie haben das Recht auf vier Viertel und Haus Crepes.. sehr nett.. Wenn Sie Militär sind (National Marine) oder Familie von Militärs zögern Sie nicht, Ihnen eine kleine Kürzung zu machen.. Schlußfolgerung für einen nächsten Aufenthalt in Brest, wir werden wieder dorthin zurückkehren !!
