Schöne Anlage, sehr gepflegt, schon begrünt. Vorm Haupthaus gibt einem Pool und Jacuzzi. Leckeres Frühstück, wobei nicht ganz klar ist, was es alles gibt und es wechselt täglich. Eine Menü Karte wäre hilfreich gewesen. Wir hatten als Paar nur 1 Koffer dabei und dieser konnte aufgrund der kleinen Zimmergröße nicht problemlos auf dem Boden geöffnet werden, ohne jedes Mal darüber klettern zu müssen. Zimmergröße deutliches Manko. Modernes Bad, aber Bad ohne Fenster, trotz Lüftung sehr feucht. Hier fehlen Handtuchhalter und Trocknungsmöglichkeiten. Negativ: Die Tür mit Code ließ sich mehrfach nicht öffnen, auch bei unserer Anreise spätabends. Wir sind nur ins Haus zurück gekommen, weil uns andere Gäste reingelassen haben. Einfahrt nur für geübte Autofahrer und kleine Autos, rechts und links massive Wände, sollte Gegenverkehr kommen keine Ausweich- oder Wendemöglichkeit! Am zweiten Tag haben wir das Auto oben geparkt.

Das Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe oberhalb des Ortes Camara de Lobos mit wunderbarem Blick zwischen zwei Bergen zum Meer. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet - ein Zahlenkombinationsschloss ersetzt den Zimmerschlüssel. Der Service dort war Klasse. Vor allem Diogo, für den es nur gab: Geht nicht, gibt's nicht. Sei es bei der Hilfe auf der Suche nach einem Leihwagen - sei es für einen Grillabende mit anderen Gästen oder der Möglichkeit am Abreisetag länger im Zimmer bleiben zu dürfen. Herzlichen Dank nochmals dafür, Diogo Das Frühstück wurde immer serviert & es gab neben Wurst & Käse leckere Marmelade, Obst, Eier, gebratene CHampignons etc. Sehr lecker alles. Der Pool im Garten war angenehm temperiert & man konnte einen schönen Ausblick auf die umliegenden Hügel genießen.

Beautiful facility with the nicest and most helpful staff. We got a room with a balcony facing the swimming pool. The room has such a nice decor and we felt that it was roomy with 2 balconies. Breakfast was a highlight of everyday. We enjoyed the great variety of food and it was also great eating by the swimming pool. Don’t forget to ask for a tour of their facility and spend sometime with their residence goats and cat. Nelly our housekeeper was the sweetest as well as the ladies at the front desk. Wonderful boutique hotel. I miss it dearly.

We recently stayed at Quinta da Saraiva during our visit in Madeira, and it surpassed all our expectations. The exceptional service, stunning views, and delicious breakfast made our experience truly unforgettable. The hotel's service was impeccable. From the warm check-in to the attentive staff throughout our stay, we felt welcomed and valued. The location of Quinta da Saraiva offered breathtaking views of Camaro de Lobos, especially the beautiful view at sunset. It is possible also to relax in the pool or jacuzzi. Breakfast was very good, made with country eggs straight from the hotel farm Overall hotel was elegant with a traditional accent. We certainly appreciated peace and quiet. The rooms are very cozy with sunset balconies We highly recommend Quinta da Saraiva if you are looking for a rest in peace and quiet combined with perfect view and good standard hotel ☺️

The place feels like home. For us, this was the perfect accommodation in Madeira. It's close to the airport and all Madeira sights for an active vacation, but if you just want a quiet, intimate vacation, this is the most perfect location. The breakfast was amazing, and it was served outside, so we ate with the great view of the ocean and the hills. The breakfast was very complete, with selection of fresh breads served on a platter every day accompanied by fresh fruits, cheeses, little sweets, or eggs made in different way and coffee, or tea. Very clean, with all you need for a good stay: fresh towels, towels for using by the pool, toiletries, daily cleaning. They provided a hairdryer which I appreciated. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely. The staff is very friendly, kind, wonderfully helpful and professional. They organised a rental car at short notice and our dophin watching trip before we arrived.
