Top-Hotels mit Spa in Calpe

Mein Name ist Ladislau Simon von Wien und ich war in eure Hotel mit meine Gattin von 10.09- 24.09.22 in ein Superior Zimmer mit Meerblick , beide waren hervorragend sowohl das Zimmer, als auch den Aussenblick. Das einzige was wir nicht so toll gefunden haben und Ausbesserungswürdig wäre ist die andauernde Wiederholung von ein Kanal auf TV und ich erkläre: zum Beispiel das TV ist auf einen Kanal, diese Sender schaltet sich ständig ein das jede 2 Minuten, oder noch öfter, so wie wenn ein Kanal neu umgeschaltet wäre. Das Essraum auch Traumhaft, das Essen einer besser als den anderen, viel Auswahl sowohl bei Frühstück, als auch bei Abendessen in Getränken und Gerichte. Ein besonderes Lob verdient den Hr Marius von Foodgalerie, durch seine Ausstrahlung, sein Kompetenz, seine Art Nett zu sein ist ein echten Gewinn für das Hotel. Wir waren nicht die einzigen formidabel Betreut von Hr Marius , weil ich habe gemerkt die Zufriedenheit von anderen Gäste welche unmittelbar von ihm betreut worden. Ich kann eures Hotel nur weiter empfehlen.

Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber gepflegt. Großes Bad mit BD und Badewanne mit Duschwand. Großer Balkon. Sehr freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen von der Reinigungskraft, über die Kellner zur Rezeption. Kostenfreier Late Check out bis 14 Uhr wenn gewünscht und möglich oder kostenpflichtig bis 18 Uhr. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück bei dem für jeden was dabei ist. Die Zimmer zur Ifach Seite haben leider wenig Sonne und einen sehr hohen Bau nebenan. Die Meerseite hat ab nachmittags Sonne und einen tollen Ausblick auf den Salzsee mit seinen Flamingos sowie das Meer mit Benidorm am Horizont und die Berge.

Das Hotel ist sehr groß. Der Speisesaal hat leider keine Kapazität für alle Gäste, so dass hier im Schichtbetrieb gegessen wird. Allerdings hieß das, wenn man zwischen 20-20.45 Uhr Abendessen geht, muss man auch zwischen 8-8.45 Uhr frühstücken. Was mit Kindern, wenn die erst nach der Show um 23 Uhr ins Bett gehen, nicht machbar ist. Ein weiterer Negativpunkt ist das schlechte WLAN im Hotel. Ein normales Surfen im Internet am Nachmittag war so gut wie nicht möglich. Vom Streamen spreche ich hier gar nicht! Aber sonst: Das Essen ist top, die Poolanlage groß und sauber, Toplage mit wenigen Metern zur Strandpromenade.

Alles in Ordnung

Wir sind mehrmals dorthin, und das letzte Mal im Dezember 2021. Raumige Zimmer , moderne , perfekt für Familien ....oder Paare mit schönen Spiegeln im Zimmer .... Hyper geräumige und moderne Badezimmer . Die Aussicht ist dagegen stark vom Zimmer abhängig. Le buffet de l’hôtel est de haute qualité avec des produits frais et divers (le seul bemol en décembre avec le covid on ne pouvait pas se servir se-même, très très très enthousiaste ). Eine weitere kleine Bemerkung, während wir dieses Hotel für seinen Miniclub und seine Infrastruktur für die Jugendlichen wählen, war der Raum geschlossen, weil er von einem Radfahrerteam privatisiert wurde, Leid für die Kinder und wir selbst, weil der Preis gleich war und das Hotel ist sehr teuer. Das Spa ist großartig und das private Massage-Paket Jacuzzi mit Kinder ist völlig fantastisch. Trotz einiger Bemerkungen, wir werden bald wieder da sein.

The Cookbook has 2 good quality restaurants and calls itself a boutique hotel. Unfortunately the hotel is not boutique as this brings to mind luxury and quality when in reality the rooms are looking tired and in need of attention. On checking in, first impressions were very good, staff are very pleasant and attentive, the reception area is modern and attractive. We were offered a drink while we were checked in, which was very welcome. Unfortunately once we got to our room, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working at all, it was running but just moving around ambient air. We called reception and they advised that they would call in the engineer whilst we were out for dinner. On our return, we were advised that they discovered that the unit had broken and we would be moved to another room. The replacement room air conditioning was working as it was a brand new unit, but instead of replacing the old unit with this new one, the old unit was left in place on another wall and the new one added as well. So the room contained two air conditioners which looked a bit odd. The hotel corridors were roasting hot, it appears that either the air conditioning is not working in these either or they had been turned off to save money. Our replacement room was looking very tired in places with doors needing sanding and revarnishing and drawers that were falling out if you pulled them out too far. Using the bathroom, we discovered a couple of issues. Firstly the sink tap was falling apart. Secondly and to be honest, totally disgusting was the wet black mould that I only discovered after I ran a bath and had a close up view of the bath tap. We reported both issues to reception and asked that they be resolved. Staff assured us that they would be immediately dealt with and on our return from dinner that evening, we were told that the sink tap had been fixed by the engineer, the mould would be dealt with by room service the following day. We were reassured that staff were on top of the issues and found the sink tap now fully working in the room. We felt confident the mould issue would be resolved the following day but to our disappointment, discovered the tap in exactly the same disgusting state. As were were spending our last night in the hotel and we had already bought it to the hotels attention, we decided to not bother to report a second time, but just list the issue here for other travellers to decide if they want to stay at this hotel or not! Breakfast at the hotel was fine although there was a bit of a lack of choice which other reviewers have complained about. It seems that there was a chef shortage as the receptionist was also doubling as the cook during our stay at the hotel. He advised us that the only thing he could cook was a plain omelette or scrambled eggs. Luckily we were fine with that choice and he cooked them well. I got the impression that most of the money spent on the Cookbook has gone into both restaurants (which are lovely) and

Really enjoyed our stay, Christmas and New Year. We were on All Inclusive, room on 1st floor, massive balcony which would be excellent in the summer but only got the sun for an hour or so in December. Room was great, cleaned every day ( including Christmas day) we had to say no to the cleaner on New Year's day (a late one). Food was varied but always something we liked and plenty of it. Invited to Gala night on New Year's eve which was a set meal and some people didn't like some courses but we found fantastic. All the staff, restaurant, bar, reception and cleaners very polite and helpful. I struggle to find anything to complain about unlike some reviewers. Will definitely be going back this year.
