Casthotels Fuertesol Bungalows

I've seen this resort has had poor reviews on this site, and I believe this is unfair. The room was a lovely size and very clean, the pool was well maintained and lovely and quiet, all staff I spoke with were always polite and very helpful when needed the resort was excellent value for money in an excellent location.

First Hols since Pandemic.. 10 Nights of Uncomfortable Stanined beds with no running water in the morning due to building work outside the resort.. Cock roasters always appearing every evening, this Hotel is very run down and dated... the bar does not open in the evening.. the drinking area is ok, located beside the pool.. the trouble is if you have a pool side apartment, which there is only 5 in total, you will not be able to relax and sunbath because the noise from customers drinking all morning to 3pm till when it closes is not pleasent. The Spanish locals who meet there tend to get very drunk every day.. ( very loud ) On one occasion I fancied a Full English breakfast €5... inc tea. 9 baked beans I received, a cold sausage and a fried... bacon undercooked and a greasy egg... and the service was SHOCKING.. Attitude from Staff regarding a request back was terrible. Holiday makers... this is my experience, please be aware... it is very very dirty, untidy and no polite staff... just all in it for thereselves. I shall not return to this 2 ☆☆ Resort.. it's worth paying the extra somewhere else.

Nice bungalows, renovated. Friendly staff, close to city centre. Just for breakfast could be more choices. Two cockroaches within one week stay in bungalow, and another one tried to enter . Bungalows should be sprayed for the insects inside and outside.

Do not book breakfast if vegetarian. Two options English or Italian. We asked for English but no meat. One fried egg a tablespoon of beans, slice of cheese and 2 toast. One glass of cordial and a cup of coffee. No cereal, fruit or yoghurt. Italian 2 " croissants" supermarket doughy, 1 slice of cheese and jam. No shop on site. Not the hotels fault but should have been informed that there is major road works with 20 foot hole right outside hotel. Be careful at night as trip hazard when coming back in the dark as no street lights, had to use torch on phone. Safe at bottom of wardrobe so had to scramble on floor to get access. Good points pool very good and really clean, microwave, toaster and kettle all spotless. All staff great. Good location when road works finished.

We have been coming to fuertasol apartments since 2015 and it was a lovely place to stay. Nothing grand but clean and a great cheap getaway. The staff were amazing, all the maids were friendly and cleaned the rooms every day. The bar staff were brilliant and the food was lovely. We hadn't been for a few years thanks to covid. But we couldn't wait to get back. We saw on the website that fuertasol apartments had been taken over by casthotels but the pictures on the website looked the same, so off we went. What an absolute disappointment! The website pictures are of the old complex, the pool area is now totally different and not for the better. They don't even play music anymore so you're sat on silence. We saw a maid once the whole week we were there. The staff are rude and ignorant. The bar closes at 3.30pm every day. So good luck If you want a drink. The food is disgusting and nothing like the pictures they have on the website. The bar staff made us wait for a drink because they were cooking food for their family which turned up every lunchtime. They've destroyed the place that we used to love coming to. They are using the old fuertasol pictures on their website so don't be fooled. They have lost a lot of loyal custom as they act like you're an inconvenience when you're there. Never again!

Bungalows were enough to use as a base if you’re ‘out and about’ people; just enough room / equipment - but don’t mistake for anything approaching luxury ! Area is busy enough and the local beaches are lovely. Shops, bars and restaurants aplenty all B within 5 minutes walk - so really good location. Would use again for sure 👌

Used the bungalow as a base to tour the island on a motorbike. Friendly and professional staff. Proximity to the airport meant that a taxi costs less than €20, worth bearing in mind as taxis are expensive. The bungalow itself, curiously has both a front and rear door enabling a good flow of air and alternate places to sit during the day. Whilst aspects of the interior were undoubtably tired, such as the kitchen units and bathroom fittings, the interior paint was in good condition and the bungalow was cleaned regularly to a high standard by the domestic staff, limited cooking utensils are available, so easy notes is the order of the day. Swimming pool is huge, quality of the water was very good and disinfected with salt instead of chlorine. There are also some excellent, reasonably priced restaurants and supermarkets within a short walking distance from the development. Unfortunately, there is a considerable amount of work taking place to the front of the complex to improve the roads and drainage which necessities having to (in my case) ride around the block to get back into the car park, a minor inconvenience. Lastly, perfect location for those who ‘spot planes’ because the complex is on the flight path of landing aircraft. On balance, more positives than negatives, worked fir me.

Paradise! I stayed in this complex twice and was very pleased. I really like the location and cozy bungalows with everything you need for a holiday in Fuertaventura. The rooms are updated, spacious and clean, pleasant service, delicious food, and there are 2 heated swimming pools on site. Friendly staff is always ready to help in case of confusion. A big plus is that next to the complex, a clothing market is held twice a week, where you can buy beautiful and inexpensive clothes for a beach holiday on the Canary Island. Also, there is a bus station nearby with routes to the airport and throughout the island. I think that Costa De Fuste is the best area for a beach holiday in Fuertaventura, with a magnificent beach and a quiet, cozy bay where there are almost no waves, which allows you to safely swim in clean, clear and warm water. And this is a paradise for a family holiday.

Great self catering bungalows. Close to the bars and restaurants. Also close to the beach. Market right outside reception. Lovely and clean. Inside and outside. Pool was just warm enough to have a dip and swim. Laundrette on site.would highly recommended.
