Hotel Esteba

Accueil agréable mais aucune proposition de repas du soir ou de petit déjeuner. Arrivée dans la chambre, tout allait bien.... nous sommes 3 et uniquement 2 serviettes de bain, les draps de lits blancs tachés de sang, et les murs d'une finesse atroce. Pas dormi avant plus de 0h, mon voisin de chambre était au téléphone et nous avons entendu toute la conversation. Sans compter le placement de l'hôtel, à côté d'une rue principale assez fréquenté et les camions de poubelles tard le soir

3 nights. Positives: Location, Parking, Bed, Sleep Quality, Service, WiFi, Restaurant, Cleanliness and Maintenance. This 1* hotel takes pride and care in what they offer. Super clean, very well maintained, the room has no frills but it offers a recently renovated if compact space and tiny bathroom with basic amenities. The hotel has easy access off the motorway and convenient parking. We had 2 dinners which were pretty good and a simple Spanish bar style breakfast and it came fast and was ok. We paid for our 3 nights on arrival and then separately for each cafeteria or restaurant purchase. Further, please note that the photos on line are accurate and if anything our room was better than expected, although we did take the better room rate. Linen and towels were reasonable and the firm bed offered amazing sleep quality. Both heating and cooling supplied. Our room 110 had a balcony and although near the single elevator, we used the adjacent stairs to go up and down to level 1. Negatives: no hairdryer, shower recess was small, shower head a bit floppy and could do with adjustment. No kettle or mini fridge. You could hear noises from adjacent rooms including tv but once people settled for the night it was very quiet. Highly recommend.

Stayed here 2 nights before going to a friend wedding. The Building looks nice from outside, especially the garden and the relax area. The Rooms although are old and minimal, but most of all really really noisy. You could hear the room next door toilet flushing and the shower running. Had to put hearplugs in in order to sleep (or trying) as the air-conditioning was so loud, and didn't even cool down the room properly. Last but not least, I booked this hotel via ***********, where is showed a swimming pool in the pictures, but no swimming pool in this hotel. It s the council swimming pool over the road, and it s 6.50€ entrance.

Choisi 2 jours avant le départ pour une visite en Espagne, nous avons eu un peu de mal à communiquer avec le personnel qui ne parlait pas français, et nous mal l'anglais et l'espagnol. Mais nous avons réussi à confirmer notre réservation faite en ligne. Sauf que la chambre ne correspondait pas exactement à ce que nous avions réservé (chambre du standing en dessous donc moins chère mais pas de petit bar et surtout 2 lits joints, pas idéal pour un séjour en amoureux , et vue sur la rue, pas sur le jardin dont nous n'avons pas pu profiter). Malgré ça l'hôtel était très propre, le personnel très gentil et le séjour s'est bien déroulé. La chambre était correcte et confortable, bien qu'une partie commence à dater un peu (quelques fissures au plafond et un vieux système pour fermer le volet roulant). A savoir, la température de la climatisation ne correspond pas vraiment à la température dégagée, si bien que réglée sur 5 degrés on était bien dans la chambre. La grande douche était très appréciable. La taille de la chambre était raisonnable. Par contre la ville en elle-même ne présente pas un grand intérêt si ce n'est le centre thermal, il n'y a pas grand chose. A explorer, nous avons aperçu en partant un panneau pour un lac en direction de Girona. Et en venant nous avions traversé une chaîne de collines par une route vallonnée avec un joli paysage.

Comida familiar un domingo, menú exquisito. Todo estaba muy bueno y el precio razonable comparado con los sitios habituales. Éramos 5 y a todos nos gustó lo escogido. El canelón de boletus y la fideuá estaba espectacular. Los postres también nos gustaron mucho, el tipo de cocina es tradicional catalana. El lugar está reformado y lo han dejado todo espectacular, introduciendo un diseño moderno en un lugar de campo.
