Stayed for 7 nights. I did not get a welcome greeting upon arrival, instead I was presented with a piece of paper with a list of house rules and charges which I found offensive and off putting. No details of the hotel facilities or Wifi. Not being able to bring your own drinks or any food into the hotel was a huge negative and disappointment. The room on the 4th floor was spacious, modern with a large walk in wet room with a powerful hot shower. A small balcony with pool view. Sockets by the bed and a small fridge. I was very happy with my room but the sheets were very rough and well worn. Housekeeping did a good job with the cleaning and provided two bottles of water each day. The first night and several nights during the week there were large celebrations on the roof with very loud music. Luckily this stopped after 10pm so did not disturb my sleep. The dining area is in the lower ground floor, dark and dingy with curtains closed with no atmosphere. It was a depressing area to eat breakfast. The hotel guests are mainly Indian males. The Indian breakfast offering was very nice with different curries, breads ,rice -and melon. But very carb heavy with no healthy or European options apart from stale processed sliced bread. The staff ignored you and didn't speak English. The wifi voucher expired every evening, so you had to go to reception each day to get a new token which was very frustrating and inconvenient. The gym facilities are located in a room in the car park with three machines and some hand weights. Again, not somewhere you would want to work out. The pool area had limited hours and quite shaded. The location is excellent, 10 minutes to the beach. Short walk to a good supermarket, bus stop to Panjim and the airport. I didn't feel comfortable in this hotel, the staff lacked hospitality skills and don't cater for Europeans. With some improvements this has some great potential . The room and location was very good, however I wouldn't stay again.
