Das Hotel hat ein reichhaltiges Frühstück, viele Früchte; die Zimmer sind sauber und der Service ist behutsam. Sie können 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Stadtzentrum gehen. Uber fährt etwa 10 Minuten zum Flughafen.

Wir wollten ein komfortables Bett mit Dusche (nicht schwere Schranken) und eine anständige Dusche. Wir haben das. Aber von Anfang an gab es Probleme. Das extra Bett in dem Dreibettzimmer war nicht gemacht und es gab Haare auf der Matratze. Die Dusche war heiß. Kein kaltes Wasser. ! Wir mussten zweimal nach unten gehen, um einen Mann zu beheben. Wir hatten Probleme, das Internet zu bekommen und wir mussten noch einmal nach unten gehen, um Hilfe zu bekommen. (Es gibt keinen Weg, die Rezeption zu kontaktieren, so haben wir die erste Stunde vielmals abzulaufen.) Internet funktioniert. Wir warten auf das dritte Bett zu reinigen und zu machen, aber am Ende mussten wir das Bett selbst machen. Der Luftkon funktionierte nicht trotz der Tatsache, dass der Techniker das Wasser befestigt. Er sah es an und entschied, es funktioniert. Nun, es funktionierte nicht. 🌝Frühstück war gut. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Probleme wurden sortiert. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Sie können leicht in die Stadt gehen oder zum modernen Einkaufszentrum gehen, wo Sie Geldpunkt und Geldwechsel zu guten Preisen finden.

The rooms -- including bathrooms -- are tiny, which did not bother us as digital nomads because they still offered a lot of storage. The first floor lobby spills into an enormous dining room/work hall with plenty of seating and a variety of table heights (great for me to work sitting then move to a standing position). Lots of natural light and you can people watch through the windows. 24 hour attention @ the front desk and wifi speeds work GREAT in the room and best in the lobby. Brekkie is included in your rate and very good compared to other breakfasts we have eaten throughout our stay in Chile, including eggs made to order. Cafeteria offers buffet style or a la carte lunch + dinner. The sandwich we had for dinner was average, but keep in mind there are not many restaurants open on a Sunday in the area. Secure, off-street parking and we found that ~33% of the front desk staff we encountered spoke some English. NEGATIVES: 1) The room size is tight, but fine, except that there did not seem to be much air flow. This led to us sleeping with the window cracked for circulation, but the street noise is a distraction throughout the night. Bring ear plugs. 2) The included gym is a good thought but does not have free weights/weight lifting equipment; only cardio. For ~$6 USD/$5000 CHP there is a full gym 1 block away where you can buy a day pass. 3) Hotel contract mentions a safe in the room, but we did not see one in ours?! That would have been a useful touch. 4) I know the hotel cannot help its location, but I do not believe this is in the ”best” area of town. That being said, Calama is a bit rough anyway so the entire city itself statistically is not as safe as the aggregate of Chile. Case in point, EVERYONE tells you to not be out after sunset and the day of our arrival a poor teen was stabbed ~5 blocks from the hotel. This does not reflect in my rating of the hotel, but travelers should know that going into Calama/this hotel.

Wir blieben eine Nacht nach unserem Atacama-Besuch aufgrund eines Morgenflugs nach Santiago. Zuerst scheint es ein schönes Aufskalahotel, aber ... Das Rezeptionspersonal war so brutal, wie wir sie störten, um sich anzumelden. Das Hotel hatte zuvor eine E-Mail über die Notwendigkeit, in USD Cash zu zahlen, wenn wir die 19% Steuer zu vermeiden wollten, so habe ich es mitgebracht, um zu zahlen. Wenn es herauskommt, würden sie nur eine Kreditkarte - sie sagten, die Steuer würde nicht belastet, aber das bleibt zu sehen. Wir kamen um 5 Uhr ohne Mittagessen und waren hungrig, aber das Restaurant öffnete erst um 7 Uhr und es gibt absolut nichts anderes in der Nähe. Die Lobbybar war nicht einmal öffnet bis 7. Es gibt eine Minibar im Zimmer, aber es war völlig leer. Schließlich ging er um 7 Uhr zum Abendessen und das Wartepersonal war nicht schöner als das Rezeptionspersonal - aber das Essen war gut. Das Zimmer war ruhig und komfortabel, aber es gibt keine USB-Anschlüsse und nur eine Seite des Bettes hat einen Anschlüssel jeder Art. Sauberkeit im Zimmer und in den gemeinsamen Bereichen war am besten mittelschwer. Untere Linie, es ist nahe am Flughafen und wird für eine Nacht tun, aber ich würde sicher nicht mehr da bleiben wollen.

We stayed here on the all inclusive package so had excursions included. We arrived early in the morning, breakfast was still being served so we were offered to help ourselves before checking in. Once we had eaten and completed the check in process someone from the tour desk sat down with us and planned our itinerary for our stay. It was hard to choose between all the excursions as there were so many that sounded amazing. However he listened to what we wanted and enjoyed, and we loved every excursion that he helped us pick out. We did the stargazing twice which was incredible, we planned our stay around the new moon which I would really recommend doing if you’re there for the stargazing. The food in the restaurant was incredible, as was the food we had on the excursions. All the staff were fantastic.
