Die besten Hotels in Cala Ferrera, Spanien

Wir haben im Cap Vermell Grand Hotel einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt von 4 Nächten verbracht. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gebaut (auch wenn man aus der Distanz sieht, wie stark auch hier in die Natur eingegriffen wurde) und sie wird auch konstant sehr schön unterhalten. Das gesamte Personal ist durchs Band freundlich, natürlich, unkompliziert und jederzeit sehr gästeorientiert, ein grosses Kompliment. Die Junior Suiten sind sehr grosszügig (ca. 53 m2) mit einer wunderschönen Terrasse zum Entspannen und aus den oberen Stockwerken geniesst man einen schönen Ausblick auf das Canyamel Tal (und wenn man Glück hat, sieht man im Hintergrund auch noch leicht das Meer). Man muss lange suchen, bis man einen Negativpunkt findet. Bei uns gab es zwei kleine. Unser Zimmer roch leider konstant leicht modrig, mit konstantem Lüften (im April noch möglich) war es aber kein Problem. Und wir haben die Gastronomie am Abend als Schwachpunkt empfunden. Wir haben 2x im Resort unser Abendessen eingenommen. Das Essen in der Tapas Bar war sehr gut und mundete köstlich. Das Essen im Restaurant Balearic hat uns weniger überzeugt. Die Karte hat uns bereits nicht aus den Socken gehauen (sie war aber OK), aber unser Fisch war bei beiden leider nicht durchgebraten. Die darauf folgende Beanstandung wurde jedoch perfekt, freundlich und hochprofessionell gemeistert, auch hier wieder ein grosses Kompliment an den gesamten Staff. Man spürt, dass die Mitarbeiterinnen und die Mitarbeiter alle sehr geschult sind, dies ist in den aktuellen „nach Covid“ Zeiten nicht selbstverständlich. Fazit: Ein perfekter Aufenthalt, welchen wir sehr genossen haben. Wir fühlten uns richtig wohl und wie in den Ferien und wir wurden vom gesamten Personal jederzeit auf den Händen getragen, vielen herzlichen Dank dafür. Wir empfehlen das Hotel Cap Vermell Grand Hotel sehr gerne uneingeschränkt weiter.

Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende als Paar in diesem Hotel verbracht und hatten eine super schöne Zeit. Die Anlage ist klein und überschaubar, liegt super gelegen um schnell in die Stadt, zum Strand und zur Marina zu kommen und ist sauber. Wir haben die Übernachtung mit Frühstück gewählt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend in der Auswahl. Die Zimmer waren ebenfalls ausreichend. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und es wurde alles unternommen auch zu Corona Zeiten den Aufenthalt so sicher wie möglich zu machen. Da ich bereits im Mai in Mallorca in einem großen Hotel war muss ich sagen, dass dieses hier die Auflagen um längen besser umsetzen konnte. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

We stayed for for two weeks half board during September family of three . We opted for this hotel because it wasn’t geared towards younger children , and due to the positive reviews regarding the pool area , spacious rooms and food. Thankfully most tourists were couples of families with older children. The location is quite it takes 30 minutes to walk into Sa Coma at a slow steady pace, the nearest bar is within 15 minutes of the hotel (Delaynies Bar, )we don’t recommend this bar it’s dated run down, and basically a tourist trap purportedly offering the cheapest drinks in town , a Baileys cost 8 Euro and is smaller than a standard measure , the glasses are dirty the entire place needs refurbishing. We arrived at the hotel just before midnight check in was smooth , we were informed due to missing our meals a cold buffet had been placed in the fridge, when we entered the room we were disappointed to realise there wasn’t anything in the fridge, we were left three small bottles of water , no milk, tea bags or cups resulting in us having to go back to reception to ask for cups, milk teabags to enable us to make a drink. The rooms are spacious but dated, the sofa beds are not suitable for adults or older teenagers, hotel staff refused to accommodate our request for three single beds despite being informed I was due hip replacement surgery and as our son is in his late he is too old to sleep on a cot bed, the hotel wasn’t fully booked so no reason why hotel staff couldn’t accommodate our request. The air-Con in the room is antiquated and temperamental switching on/ off randomly, no mosquito nets on the doors, no full pool view unless you stand up ( we paid for a superior apartment) The pool area is fantastic lots of sun beds plenty for everyone, calm peaceful atmosphere and a great snack bar offering reasonably priced drinks and snacks- A large Coke costs 2.25 Euro, a large beer 3.5 Euro , cocktails are superb freshly made in a shaker , most cocktails cost 5Euro a pina colada costs 6 Euro . The drinks are cheaper than those found in the main resort and far superior in terms of volume and quality, buy a cocktail you won’t be disappointed. The animation team are lovely they kept our teenager entertained with aqua gym, darts, skittles, a special thanks to Gorka and Maria and the other girls. Brian and Miguel at the pool bar were also friendly and helpful making tasty snacks and drinkswith a smile, the guy with the grey hair at the main bar made fantastic cocktails and was always happy and helpful all staff are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is great the hotel restaurant offers a wide choice of food which is good quality and cooked to a good standard, unfortunately I can’t say the same about food in the evening which is geared towards German guests , food labelling is also problematic again German tourists are prioritised all food was labelled in German making it difficult for us to determine what was on offer , we had a couple of shocks

My wife and I spent 4 nights here towards the end of October.The hotel was lovely-spotlessly clean,and very well located.Our room had a side sea view which was excellent,but the orientation meant that the sun disappeared from the large balcony early in the afternoon.Breakfast was very good-lots of choice,particularly the wonderful pastries.Having said all that ,there was a definite end of season feel to the hotel,and we were disappointed that the restaurant closed for dinner the night after we arrived.There was no mention of this on the website when we booked.Sun beds were being stacked away on our last day ( to be fair it was raining a bit) and it was clear that they were getting ready to close. We had booked direct,which was a bonus,not only on price,but we got early check in and late check out,and an upgraded room,so I would recommend this. We would definitely stay here again,especially as it is adults only-one of the reasons we chose it.A lovely place to stay.

Wir haben ein Zimmer im 3. Stock des Grupotel Aguait Resort & Spa gebucht (340), mit tollen großen Betten, viel Schrankflächen (nebst ausreichender Zahl an Kleiderbügeln), großem TV mit etlichen deutschsprachigen Sendern und einer Regendusche und Föhn im Bad. Vom Balkon aus hatten wir einen fantastischen Meerblick - wer früh auf war mit entsprechenden Sonnenaufgang. Allerdings muss man dann auch das meist kräftige und laute Wellenrauschen mögen - andernfalls Ohrstöpsel rein oder ein Zimmer zur anderen Seite buchen. Das in den Vormittagsstunden durch die Sonne aufgeheizte Zimmer konnte durch die Aircondition nicht abgekühlt werden, da zu unserer Zeit von der Hotelseite her noch der Heizungsmodus eingestellt war. Der Internetempfang war außerhalb des Hotelgebäudes (auf dem Balkon oder auf den Liegen am Pool) nicht mehr ganz so gut. Das Essen hingegen war super. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht (ein leckeres und umfangreiches Frühstücks-Büfett und das Abendessen ebenfalls in Büfettform - ebenfalls super lecker). Tagsüber konnte man sich kleine aber feine Snacks an der Poolbar bestellen. Generell waren wir mit dem Service sehr zufrieden. Von der dezenten Animation und der Möglichkeit an sportlichen Kursen teilzunehmen, dem herzlichen Empfang der Herren am  Empfangstresen, den Damen und Herren im Essensbereich/Poolbar, bis zu den Reinigungskräften. Der Pool war zu unserer Zeit wenig belegt und es waren immer genügend freie Liegen vorhanden (es war trotz Sonnenschein doch noch recht kühl). Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Cala Ratjada. Mann/Frau ist aber in ca. 20. Min. zu Fuß im Zentrum - dort sind auch div. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu finden (öffentl. Bus fährt tgl. alle Stunde / Haltestelle vorm Hotel). Anmietung von Fahrrädern und PKW vor Ort möglich. 2 Aufladestationen für Elektro-PKW waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Unmittelbar am Hotel war es meist schwierig einen Parkplatz für den Miet-PKW zu bekommen, man musste dann auf die umliegenden Anliegerstraßen ausweichen. Uns hat der Aufenthalt in einem Grupotel mal wieder sehr gefallen.
