Waterfront Terraces

Pool was dirty prior to me seeing a maintenance man repairing some tiles around the pool and washing his sponge in the water contaminating the pool even more. I happened to leave an expensive item in the apartment, I messaged the owner and she states that she never found it. I know that I left it in there but good luck with your find, hope you like it.

I booked an apartment for three weeks while I was visiting family in Cairns and used it as a base when out exploring FNQ. It was perfect. Spacious, clean and, the linen was changed when I was out of town. The decor and furniture could do with some updating and given a more tropical flavour with white cotton linen on the very comfortable bed. Anthony is the star of this show and works incredibly hard to maintain and retain the style of this establishment although I think he has more to offer given the chance! The location is perfect, just far enough along the Esplanade to be quiet but close enough to walk into the City and explore. Thank you.

We rented in this building due to proximity to Tobruk Swimming Pool- 10-15 minutes walk. It takes about 30 minutes to walk into the centre of Cairns, so a bit inconvenient for dinners etc but that was our choice. The staff were really very friendly and helpful. The unit was spacious and furniture was pretty comfortable. 2 big sofas! The king size bed was very comfortable. The kitchen has the basics to cook. However, the apartment could really do with some fresh paint and better artwork ( currently clown fish and Franklin Island). This was not a luxury apartment but a tiny touch up would make it look much smarter. You’re required to put out the garbage at the end of stay which we thought the cleaner might do. No big deal but unusual. Overall, no complaints

Drug test staff. Receptionist Anthony was high. Showing signs of DV towards his boyfriend. I have kids this is not a great family place. Check in got giving wrong room. Saw his bf come in and watched him abuse him. Then caught him smoke pipes on the grounds. Drug test him please

The Apartments are down toward the airport end of the Esplanade but that can have it's benefits. It's quieter. The pool is bigger than most. It is surrounded by foliage and private from the street. You can walk in down the far end, making it easier for older people to get in and out. If you don't need a sea view, then Apartment 7 on the ground floor as it's own private gate to the pool about 10 steps away. Bonus you don't have to climb up and down steps. There is a bust stop in front of the nearby hospital that will take you into town.
