Contrary to what I was expecting, the hotels service is poor and it's rock bottom. From the reception to their staff. No proper hotel training, and should all undergo customer service orientation seminar for hotel industries. This is not a customer friendly hotel and everything their you will pay. So be careful to tell something to do from the staff or even ask something, for sure they will charge something.

We love the location! We did a tour of the beautiful property with the amazing front desk staff to see the beautiful rooms for a future stay. We really enjoyed our delicious food at the beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean! We also loved Bai coffee shop coffee was so yummy! All the staff were very nice and helpful! Thank you all!

This is not our first stay in Chali, but after several years, I felt compelled to visit this place once again with my children, and to my surprise, they have new and better accommodations called-- The Courtyards. The Courtyards has bigger rooms than the Cabanas. We opted for the ones with two queen beds. We were surprised by the sheer size of the room. It is so spacious and even has its own pocket garden which can be accessed through the bathroom and has view from the bedroom. The bathroom in itself was huge! It is airy, and has that infamous rain shower head. Anyone could stay there for hours and enjoy the strong water pressure. The bedroom has beautiful ceiling and lighting fixtures. The airconditioning unit in the room is huge (split-type). The pillows are great including the comfortable sheets. My children loved the huge flat screen television with cable tv. For those who have laptops, Kindles, iPads and smartphones that requires wifi connection, the signals are strong inside the rooms at The Courtyard. The resort has several wifi connections throughout- the restaurant, the reception area, etc. Wherever you are there is bound to be some signal. :) Food has improved a lot and has become affordable. The selection is mainly filipino dishes, but they are nicely prepared and servings are huge.

TLC all the way. The food was exquisite and the service was phenomenal. Perfect for family or intimate gatherings. Went here with the love of my life and had an amazing dinner. Plus, most of the tables are by the sea. We highly recommend to get the citrus herb drink.

It’s so comfortable and cozy plus the calm sound of the sea-waves so peacefully refreshing.We love it! very ideal for Holidaying out of the buzzing city life. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is ideally good as well. Grab taxis were available from city center.

My husband and I stayed there for a total of 7 days. Our room for the first 5 days was in Villa 1. This faces the beach and view was beautiful. The room was spacious but the bathroom was really outdated. It needs a lot of TLC. Our 6th night , ( we checked out on the 5th and went to Dahilayan) we got Villa #3 and although the bathroom this time was ok, the Villa is underneath a tree on which, fruits drop off every 12/20 minutes nonstop and you can hear it so basically no sleep. We got moved the next day to Cabana Rojo. The cabanas are newer so overall it was great.. The food at the restaurant were great. The Buko halo was yummy. The staff, ah yes the staff. They’re the ones that makes this resort fantastic. From Kuya Kits, Marco, Johnston, BJ, Mark, Vince, Jay and I’m sure I forgot some. They took good care of us everyday. From my morning coffee till dinner time. Thank you for everything… Overall, I would definitely stay here again.I’d rather stay here and feel the hospitality and warmth from the staff and look at the ocean than stay in a 4 walled luxury hotel that faces the malls….
