Ty Glyndwr Bunkhouse, Bar and Cafe

Fantastic, warm and friendly. A clean and safe place to stay. I had a comfortable, quiet night's sleep. Beautiful historic surroundings. The live music was well worth the experience. The Thai food is delicious. There is so much I can say. Why don't you visit here and see for yourself?

The heart and soul of Ty Glyndwr is Su who works incredibly hard to create a truly special place to stay and enjoy. Here, you are not merely a guest but a family member, warmly welcomed, cared for, and respected. The environment is chic, location is excellent, very central, within a short walking distance to the castle, shops, coast and makes a perfect base to get to all places of interest in north Wales. The bunk rooms and wooden beds are clean and comfortable, as are the showers and toilets. The cafe is cosy with artwork and guitars decorating the walls. Su is passionate about food and drinks, offering customers a range of healthy delicious options. A lively bar and seating in the basement draws many people to live music on weekends. Su has created a unique and dynamic cultural hub in an interesting historic town, attracting soulful people. Highly recommended. Go and discover a real gem!

Having a utterly gorgeous time in Caernarfon, lovely castle and amazing people. Was hoping to vosit Rob and Ryan up in Wrexham but no time, unfortunately!

Nice and cosy place. Clean and neat environment. Welcoming staff. Clean ammenities. Breakfast provided. Good variety of breakfast including cereals and friuts. Near to the city and popular places of interest. Ideal for kids and family also.

Caernarfon is a small gem of a place. I didn't know about this before arriving. It ended up being my base for visiting Mt. Snowden but that turned into a 3-night stay, which allowed me to relax a bit and enjoy this little town. There's a castle there which is interesting and very significant in the history of Wales and England. The bunkhouse (hostel) is owned and run by a really nice guy, who does help his guests with information and enjoys talking with people (and has good taste in music, especially really good blues). The rooms are comfortable, beds comfortable, spacious, nice shelf with plug-in spots for everyone's cell phones, some hangers and hooks, toilets and showers nearby. Very much recommend this hostel and a visit to this town.

Excellent accommodation with an even better host. Really couldn't fault the place. We were a group of 16 and everything Ran really smoothly from the moment we arrived . Would have no hesitation on staying here again . Perfect for everyone whether your a group of people ot just on your own. Beds were super comfy . A really great atmosphere thanks so much Rhys
