Xinalani Retreat Mexico

My husband and I had our very first yoga retreat at Xinalani and fell in love with the place. It was an opportunity to unwind and quiet my body and mind. The scenic ocean views and the beautiful balcony with a hammock to gently swing on. I was so thankful that no critters entered our unit at night. The weather was hot and perfect to enjoy the open air sleep under the canopy bed.. The chef made delicious healthy food every single meal. He was so kind as to share recipes for us to make at home. We also enjoyed several days at the spa, as well, and it was amazing! The staff are so courteous and treated us so well. The cocao ceremony was so special and we enjoyed the instructor Dionne very much. She made it so personal. The yoga instructor Jerry was fantastic and helped me get more out of my practice. He even accommodated a shorter class for us on our departure day. Overall an amazing experience and we plan to go back next year.

The staff is outstandingly kind and friendly. The food is out of this world and delicious. The setting is serene and the sound of the ocean is always present. The location is pristine and peace inducing and a simple boat ride from PV. I strongly recommend the whale watching if you visit in March

I cannot say enough about this retreat center. I hosted a yoga retreat at Xinalani in June 2024. I was nervous with this being my first international retreat. The staff communication was impeccable while setting up and planning the retreat. They are very clear with communication concerning your transport from the airport, Seasonal critters, the amenities, and the stairs. The retreat center is set up to respect the environment. It allows you to become one with nature. I stayed in one of the open air rooms and did not have any problems with any critters other than a few mosquitoes and little lizards/geckos. The cicadas and the frogs were a beautiful backdrop to fall asleep to in the evenings. The retreat center was very thoughtful to provide earplugs for those who desired a more quiet experience. The food was extraordinary. I did not know you could create so many amazing dishes And flavors using some of the local foods and providing one of the most amazing menus I have ever eaten. Please make a cookbook! I would absolutely volunteer my services to get my hands on some of those recipes. The staff was beyond amazing. They were so thoughtful and accommodating. When they say welcome home, they mean it!! Most of the staff became friends over our stay. We look forward to coming back next year and enjoying some time to revisit our new friends. Most of the staff remembered you by name and would greet you every morning With the warmest of smiles. Kimmy, the activities Director was one of the highlights of our trip. He was so knowledgeable about local plants and animals on land and in the sea. I was concerned that being in a remote location the guests would be bored during the day, Between yoga sessions. Every day there was an amazing option to explore the local sites. We tried the dolphin tour, kayaking, and snorkeling, hiking to the waterfalls, the Temescal, every experience was so special, and Kimmy was an integral part of that. The pricing was very affordable for what you get. You can customize your experience to fit with a budget or customize your stay with many options for excursions. We spent a few days around the pool and just took it easy. That was incredible as well. The grounds are well taken care of and the beach was well maintained. The staff at the bar was so fun. I brought my teenage son with me on this trip and he enjoyed talking with them and learning how to speak Spanish. We even took a salsa class one evening. We had so much fun! Thank you for the amazing experience. We will continue to come back as regulars.❤️

Wonderful eco/rustic resort with super staff and great yoga facilities! Be advised you will have to navigate many steep outdoor stairs daily and that rooms are open to the outside. We have been twice for yoga retreats - the yoga facilities and supplies are top- notch.

Front desk staff hostile and angry- appear to be only concerned about money. Food “ok”- serving 1/4 glasses of juice (like a shot). The yoga, however, is amazing. It’s too bad a few staff can ruin experience. Beach is beautiful. Excursions wonderful. Much better options elsewhere.

I hosted a retreat at the Xinalani and it exceeded my expectations as well as my groups expectations. The staff made us feel like family, the beds and pillows were amazing, the food was so fresh and clean and the variety of yoga studios were an additional treat. The location for everyone to see and hear the sounds of the ocean make it pure magic. We have already booked our next retreat there and will be regulars.

De verdad una escapada de 10! Superó nuestras expectativas al mil! Desde la llegada todo el staff nos dio una cálida bienvenida y atención, no recuerdo todos los nombres pero Eleazar super amable y profecional un servicio de atención a cliente de lo mejor, Diego, Ismael los chicos del snack bar etc! sonrisas genuina! El lugar bellísima rodeado de vegetación, las cabañitas muy privadas con vistas espectaculares de la vegetación y la playa, los alimentos de una calidad superior a muchos otros lugares tanto en desayunos Lunch como la cena todo super natural y apto para todos incluyendo los que tenemos restricción de por alergias o alimentarias todo healthy y rico, espacios para kayak paddel, meditación yoga y más.... no terminaría con tantos detalles que transformaron esta escapada! Para pareja amigos familia grupos y de todo

Días maravillos retiro de yoga dormitorio confortable sin aire acondicionado no tenía ventanas lo cual dejaba entrar la brisa del mar haciendo que hubiese una temperature agradable para dormir. Almuerzos desayunos cenas variadas y muy ricos. personal del comedor amable dispuestos a ayudar Pastelería riquísima Bar atencion excelente Mi única critica es que una amiga se cayó bajando las escaleras en recepción pedimos hielo y nos dieron un ziplock con hielo pienso en un lugar tan remoto donde no hay una posta médica deberían tener más ➕️ productos de primeros auxilios y estar mejor equipados

Excelente lugar, vale cada peso que pagas. Su comida excelente también, servicios amables y profesionales. Lo único - si quieres pagarte la excursión a la selva hacia la cascada, pregunta bien a cuál cascada es: en época de lluvias no merece la pena el paquete ya que te llevan a un sitio turística medio feo y lejos de la imagen de la selva virgen que presentan. El resto - perfecto! Gracias a Kimi, a las chicas de la recepción, los camareros y a todos del equipo! Volveremos seguro.
