Travelodge Cardiff Atlantic Wharf Hotel

11 Women’s Royal Army Corps veterans from Wirral and Chester branches stayed for 3 nights whilst attending a grand reunion in Cardiff. What a great little find. The hotel is handy for the city and Cardiff bay. The staff were all fabulous. Special shout out to Kim who managed to sort us all out ( no easy feat). We all had breakfast each day. Just back after our 3rd visit staying here. Room 407 on top floor was a great room . Clean tidy and able to leave window open to get fresh air as it can be a tad warm even after turning down the heater in room. Warm welcome from reception . Free Parking on site for visit is a big bonus to. Easy access to Cardiff Bay and into Cardiff City Centre. Both places have great food and Sri k choices.

The bed was lovely and comfy, the staff were helpful and really friendly. The price is great for what you get and for the location. Really can't complain for the amount we paid for the room we couldn't have asked for more. Thanks to the whole team!

I've just stopped at this hotel for the first time this week and overall it was very good. The staff were excellent when checking in and friendly. My room was lovely, well cleaned, had everything in it but the only down side to it was a streetlight outside of my room that flickered and kept going on and off but improved as the week went on. Breakfast was lovely on a morning and i would happily stop at this Travelodge again.

The hotel is adequate for a short stay and the location is very good for visiting Cardiff if you don’t mind a pleasant walk in to the centre. Very good parking.

I had an excellent stay here in March. Kim and Chris were both a credit to your company. Kim provided very good guidance on how to get to you including providing a missing postcode and also car park entry/exit and I was impressed enough to thank her in person on my last day of stay. She was patient and very polite. Chris too provided very good service and explained about the opening hours of the bar and food arrangements. I was very impressed, will stay again. The only thing that made me consider a 4* was the lack of shampoo/ body wash in the shower area. I did raise the issue on the telephone to reception in the early morning and was told they would bring me some straight away. As it was very early in the morning (maybe 06.00-07.00) it was brought in a cup to keep me going. I forgot to mention the issue after my work training day so dispenser was still empty. However my positive experience overall was easily a 5*. Well done team.
