Upgraded to a King room. Which sounds good, but wasn't. Rooms was very old and in need of update. Cupboards, wardrobes and drawers extremely dirty and I wasn't putting my clothes in them. Only a tv in the lounge and none in bedroom. Shower hot water had to be on for at least 2 mins before it got hot. All power points on the bottom of the walls next to floor, making it impossible to use power bricks for recharging. Some staff cannot understand simple instructions. I was doing the right thing and pained them to let them know that I had excess milk, so didn't need any more in the morning for breakfast Apparently this meant I wanted to cancel my breakfast. Went to reception a week before and explained my new checkout day would be moved from a Tuesday to a Friday. Girl wrote it down on a post it note and I assumed it would be fine. Received a phonecall on Wednesday that I haven't checked out and I have to vacate as fully booked. I have travelled for work for over 15 years now and this is the worst incompetence I have ever come across. Food, while nice, is grossly over priced for what you get. The $45 dry aged steak was OK. But $25 ok .. Would I stay here again..NO. Would i recommend this place...NO.

The rooms were beautifully furnished, clean, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. For dinner, I ordered the ”Roast of the Day,” which featured roasted lamb, salad, and chips. The portion was generous, and the meal was absolutely delicious! Kudos to the Raindrops restaurant team. I've already spoken with my family, and we've agreed that this will be our go-to place to stay when we visit Burnie next.

Given the price, this is clearly a budget hotel, and it's a great value for the price. The basics. We had a nice sized room. The bed was good, though not great (an old style - but not old - spring type). The shower was very good. The towels were fine but not lush. Free parking, free wifi. Good heating/AC. Largish but not huge TV. Decor was minimal, probably to keep down costs. But we don't rent a hotel for the ¹pictures. Location was good, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It does not have an ocean view (if it had it would have cost more). The desk is not attended after 7, so if you needed something from management late at night you were out of luck. Boxed breakast available - we didn't get one. Lunch and dinner available, we did not try it. Laundry off the lobby, but annoyingly, it was open only during the business day..

Wenn Sie eine oder zwei Nächte verbleiben, dann ist dieses Hotel eine gute Option. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber und das Bett war sehr komfortabel. Es ist grundsätzlich, einige der Zimmer wurden aktualisiert, einige haben nicht. Ich hatte ein „Budget“ Zimmer, aber es war gut ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage ist hauptsächlich durch den Türrahmen. Das Hotel ist in ruhigen Gegenden und Sie können in wenigen Minuten durch den Fluss oder zum Strand gehen. Auf der Unterseite wurde das Restaurant unbegrenzt geschlossen. Es gab einen lauten Roster in der Nähe, der am 4.30am jeden Tag als frühe Alarmstunde abgefeuert wurde. Es gab viele Unternehmer, die so blieben, dass die Ute’s abfeuert und idling bei 6am als zweite Alarmstunde serviert! Wenn ich einen kürzeren Aufenthalt durchgemacht hätte, würde ich wieder aufhören, aber für etwas länger würde ich anderswo versuchen.

The staffs were helpful n friendly. Little kitchen with kettle n cups. The fridge is good enough for us to store our fruits and salad. We didn't dine in the restaurant. No comments.

Wir besuchten Burnie für 2 Nächte und blieben im schönen Jones auf Wilson Unterkunft. Wir hatten die Studio-Apartment, die unverschämt und stilvoll eingerichtet war. Es ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der Hauptstadt, die einige schöne Restaurants hat. Das kontinentale Frühstück ist enthalten, aber wir brauchten es nicht, weil wir unsere eigenen Lieferungen hatten. Würde diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und hoffen, bald nach Nordwesten von Tassie zurückzukehren.

Habe auf zahlreichen Karavan-Sites in Tassie n durch WestAustralien geblieben, aber nicht wo es so entspannend wie hier ... Ich denke, die Fahrt entlang des Ozeans zu Burnie war schön Ich habe mich sofort entspannt, als wir die Turn off in es kam wie ein Schnee... Keine Ahnung, wenn es ist, weil unsere Kopfe in Richtung der Meerblick n sah kein Zeichen, um in den Karawanenpark zu wechseln, aber es ist eigentlich eine kleine Frontagenschaft, die an das angeschlossen ist, was wie eine massive lokale High School / Grundschule. Dies ist einfach wahrscheinlich das Beste kept secret I kind of don't even want to tell people about this one lol ... just if your in tassie and you've had bad camping experience or just can't find that perfect place to Unwind after a lot of driving ....this is the place to relax .. liebte es und die lokalen Restaurants haben wahrscheinlich die beste süße Kartoffeln feta Salat ich’ve je hatte oder gemacht 😋 yummy ich’m schon vermisst
