Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Comfort Suites in Burlington. Es war einfach zu finden und hatte einen großen Parkplatz. Der Fronteingang ist groß und geräumig und das Personal war alles sehr nett. Ich habe ohne Probleme angemeldet, wurde über das WiFi, das Frühstück und andere Einrichtungen zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, wie ich von Choice Hotels erwartet habe. Der Spaziergang in der Dusche war wunderbar. Ich hatte ein Arbeitstisch und viel Raum für meine ”Sachen”. Seit meine Tochter kürzlich in dieses Gebiet versetzte, werde ich hier oft bleiben.

Stayed here for one night on our way to the North Cascades National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We found some hair on the bedding, and the front desk lady promptly provided new sheet and pillow cases and help us changed. Lobby and dining area was nicely updated. However, this created a bigger disappointment when we saw our room which was still quite dated (fridge and microwave is brand new though). The staff told us that the owner is slowly upgrading the place. Breakfast was free but disappointing. We didn't even get bagel and cream cheese (based on others' reviews). Everything offered was sweet (pop tarts, yogurt, cereal, fruit jello...etc). We had to go to McDonald's afterwards. Perhaps this was why the room price was discounted. We could hear train noises after midnight. It didn't bother us but this is something that light sleepers should be aware of.

Check-in ging gut. Unser Zimmer war auf der ersten Etage, was nie unsere erste Wahl ist, aber wir wissen, dass, wenn das ist, was verfügbar ist, dann ist das, was verfügbar ist. Aber sollte Spire/Diamond-Status uns nicht unsere bevorzugte High Etage zulassen? Wir wollen nicht, dass man Leute überhaupt hören muss, und die Leute über uns hatten einen ziemlich lauten Kampf an der zweiten Nacht, die wir dort waren. Die Suite war groß und perfekt für uns für die 2 Nächte, die wir verblieben. Das Personal war freundlich. Die Lage ist ok, nahe der Autobahn und Sie werden Züge hören. Dies ist eine nicht rauchende Eigenschaft. Die erste Nacht dort war der Geruch von **** wirklich stark im ersten Stockhall ...sigh ...at Frühstück am Samstagmorgen jeder unberührte Tisch war schmutzig. Das Personal machte sich Oatmeal, so dass wir wissen, dass sie dort waren ... Hausaufbewahrung für die Zimmer hätte besser sein können. Der Duschegarten war schmutzig und der Badezimmerboden hinter der Tür war nicht sauber. Das Bett fühlte sich wie ein Guss auf einer Seite. Wenn es soft gewesen wäre, dass vielleicht nicht so ein Problem gewesen wäre, aber es war wirklich unbehaglich. Insgesamt ist das Zimmer, das wir hatten, nur müde. Der Toilettensitz muss ersetzt werden. Die Matratzen sind getragen. Der Kühlschrank machte eine hohe Geräusche, und der Fernsehschirm schlägt nach 3-4 Minuten, was es schwer zu sehen macht. Wir erwarten nicht, zurück in die Gegend zu reisen. Wenn wir das tun würden, würden wir andere Orte für den Aufenthalt suchen, obwohl wir recht loyal zur Marke sind. Hoffentlich sind andere Zimmer in besserer Form.

Wir haben hier unsere vierwöchige Rundreise durch Washington und Oregon ausklingen lassen und waren mit der Wahl der Unterkunft absolut zufrieden. Das La Quinta liegt verkehrstechnisch sehr günstig. Man ist schnell in Anacortes (z. B. Whale-Watching) oder im North Cascade NP (Wanderungen). Um das Hotel herum sind viele Möglichkeiten, gut Essen zu gehen. Zum Hotel selbst: Das Hotel, die Lobby, das Zimmer - sehr, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Unser Zimmer war ein ”Tanzsaal”, sehr groß und geräumig (Eckzimmer im 3. Stock). Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Bad und die Toilette extrem sauber. Im Bad waren die üblichen Badutensilien vorhanden und auch Handtücher waren genügend bereitsgestellt. Das WLAN funktioniert sehr gut. Parkplätze um das Hotel sind ausreichend und kostenfrei. Im Erdgeschoß ist ein Pool, den wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben. Auch ein kleines Fitnessstudio ist vorhanden. Das Frühstück nimmt man in der Lobby ein. Die Auswahl ist sehr umfangreich und so sollte jeder etwas für sein morgenliches Frühstück finden können. Das Personal ist höflich und hilfsbereit. Direkt bei der Rezeption ist ein kleines Mini-Store, wo man das eine oder andere erwerben kann. Insgesamt ist das La Quinta absolut empfehlenswert. Wir hatten zudem das Glück, dass wir das Zimmer sehr günstig buchen konnten (solche Angebote hat das La Quinta immer) und somit war auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis perfekt.
