Enjoy time on the large wraparound porch with a view of the neighboring mountain, relax, and hear the sounds of nature, the water trickling down the mountainside and the birds in the trees. Enjoy relaxing in the hot tub with views of a mossy rockface or enjoy sitting inside or outside at either of the 2 fireplaces or roast marshmallows at the outdoor firepit! Take a short hike up a rustic trail along the mountain side stream to a breathtaking view point of the Blue Ridge Mountains or have fun indoors in the game room with ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and darts! Recommended Attractions/Things to Do: - Downtown Asheville - Historic Biltmore Estate - Blue Ridge Parkway - Pisgah National Forest: Hiking, Swimming Holes, and Waterfalls such as Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock Falls, and many more - Dupont State Forest: Hiking and Waterfalls such as Triple Falls, High Falls and many more - Craft Breweries: Family-friendly breweries such as Turgua Brewing and Whistle-Hop. Sierra Nevada, Highland, French Broad, New Belgium. - Vineyards and Cideries: St. Paul's (both Vineyard and Cidery), Point Lookout, Southers Williams, Burntshirt, Black Mountain Cider & Mead - Neighboring towns of Hendersonville, Black Mountain, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure. - Shopping at Asheville Outlets, Asheville Mall, and local shops in downtown Asheville - Everything Western North Carolina has to offer! Guest have access to the entire cabin and grounds including the hot tub! Other items of note: The cabin is equipped with a whole house generator. Two security cameras are in place, one above the garage door and one on the first post of the balcony, both with a view over the parking area and a ring doorbell with view of front door area of the porch. Cameras will make short recordings when activated by motion sensor. There are also 2 trail camera's in the wooded areas pointing away from the cabin. These are not intended as security cameras, but to track wildlife. Use of Firepit may be restricted from time to time due to local County burn bans. A Full set of house rules is found in the rules section, but most important: - No parties or loud noises outside which may disturb our neighbors, including at the firepit. - Neighborhood quiet time is after 10 pm. - No tampering with electronic devices. - No smoking in cabin or on the porch. - Only registered guests at time of booking. Extra person charge of $25 per person per day. - Guests are not allowed on property before check in or after check out. $50 per hour charge will apply. - Please enjoy the stream, but do not re locate any of the rocks as it is a natural habitat for salamanders and other wildlife and is environmentally sensitive. - Firewood is not provided, but may be purchased at local gas stations and grocery stores.. Super great place to stay. Very clean, thick, soft towels and plenty of them as well as soft toilet paper they even had blow driers for our use!They even had towels to use for the hot tub!The owners were so responsive to all my questions!!The kitchen was very well stocked.

Amazing house for multiple families The house was wonderful for our trip with my family and my sister's family. We loved how it was a mix of modern and cabin. The kids loved how there were a ton of stuffed bears. The house was very well stocked with kindling for the fire pit and a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed.

Quick getaway We came up for a few days with our children, our youngest has special needs & uses a wheelchair. He also is allergic to fragrances. Host was very kind, accommodating & great to communicate with! Our son had no reactions, there were minimal entry steps & the shower had a long wand to bathe him with. We all slept great, beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet. One of the best places we’ve stayed. Hiked & saw lots of wildlife. Older kids had so much fun playing games, making smores & exploring. Great food nearby. Thank you for a great experience!

Peaceful weekend We had a wonderful weekend here! Everything was as described in the listing. The property felt very homey and clean. We made use of the outdoor fire pit which was wonderful. The hot tub was in great shape, although we did not use it during the stay. The beds were comfortable and sheets very soft. The view was wonderful as well. The road driving in was very bumpy at points, but our vehicles made it without difficulty. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Family get away The property is very well appointed. Everything you may need in kitchen. We had an issue with the hot tub upon arrival but the owner had someone there to repair the very next day. The game room was our favorite since it rained much of the weekend.
