Gut gelegenes Hotel, wir haben viele Ausflüge und Fußgänge gemacht, wir fanden die Umgebungen gut sicher. Wir fahren auch mit Taxi, am Ort passierten mehrere und wir hatten kein Problem. Als wir ins Zimmer kamen, gab es zwei Einzelbetten, wir selbst zusammengekommen und konnten so schlafen. Der Kühlschrank ist nicht Eis, es ist nur, um Raumtemperatur zu halten. Wir nehmen das Heißrekord in Argentinien im März o/23, Gott sei Dank die Klimaanlage funktionierte perfekt, die Dusche ist großartig, Frühstück ist ok, das WiFi ist nicht sehr gut. Wenn Sie gehen zu gehen, den ganzen Tag ausbleiben und nicht lange im Hotel bleiben wollen, nur für Ruhe verwenden, ich empfehle.

Das Hotel ist sehr nahe am Rotary-Fährhafen und es dauert nicht zehn Minuten, um zu gehen. Von dem Hotel zu Fuß zum Mai-Platz, der 9. Juli-Straße, Fanghuang und der Hafenregion Madero sind sehr nahe. Ich habe zum ersten Mal während meiner ersten Reise allein in einem Hostel gehostet, so dass ich mit dem Fuß zurück ging - aber ich vertraute auf die Bewertungen von Buchung und tripadvisor. Gut, dass ich vertraute. Es war ein sehr lustiger und komfortabel Aufenthalt. Im Zimmer gibt es eine eigene Doppelkabine, ein eigenes Licht und ein eigenes Safe mit Kleiderschrank (ein anderes größeres Safe, für größere Taschen/Taschen). Im Zimmer gibt es auch Klimaanlage und Badezimmer. In Bezug auf die gemeinsamen Bereiche gibt es eine Küche und eine Bar und eine Innen- und eine Außen-Lounge - die Küche ist gut ausgestattet für den täglichen Gebrauch, hat Backofen, Kühlschrank, Getränke, Tassen, Tassen usw., die alle Gäste verwenden können. I don't know how this hotel got its rating, because it's very far from 4 star in my mind. The rooms are just fine and basic, but the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life. The mattress was so lumpy had a big indent and tilt I had to sleep in, so could only lie in a specific position on the edge of the bed. I really can't overstate how bad the bed was. The showers aren't great and the shower curtain kept falling off and they just kept gluing it back on. Weirdly, they are also strict on toilet paper. They won't give you a spare roll, even though when we arrived we only had just under half a roll left from the last guest only. I'll also mention that we were on the first floor which was very noisy, from hearing absolutely everything on the street to the people in the bathroom above us. The breakfast is fairly miserable, but seems consistent with other hotel breakfasts I had in the same region. Just a few pastries, cereal, some bread and warm ham and cheese. I'd recommend sticking to eating the croissants only. I will say, the hotel is conveniently located to the city centre.

The hotel was chosen by G Adventures, the tour group I was travelling with. While centrally located - about 100 metres from Florida Street - the hotel is situated across the road from a sex shop and is in a narrow street full of refuse bins that do not get emptied on a regular basis. The entrance into the hotel is cool and appears quite nice but it is a facade. Rooms in this hotel are not sound proof - they do not have windows and have the minimum - just a bed and fridge. There are no chairs, no hairdryer and no safe not even a picture on the walls for decor. Trying to sleep with all the noise was impossible = just a horrible place to stay. Breakfast consisted of stale breads and pastries. No cooked food and no variety with fruit. The only one plus about the hotel were the receptionist ladies who were courteous, efficient and kind. If you don't care about room aesthetics and room basics and are happy to sleep through noise then the hotel may suit you. It was just a horrible experience for me.

First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.
