Horrible service. We arrived early around 8am. The guy at the reception totally ignored us. When he approached he didnt even acknowledged our presence. I greeted him with a Hello. Good morning. He simply replied : Give me a minute! Im busy here!...Story cut short . We made 2 reservations for later on that day. We used the same credit card. One of the reservations was cancelled without any warnings 3 hours after we were supposed to check in. We went to check in and the guy told us the card was invalid and the reservation had been cancelled. When we explained both families had reseved using exactly the same card, and one was still reserved , the guy stated it happens all the time. Maybe a tech problem , but we had lost our reservation anyway.Read the reviews! Families with children having their reservations cancelled, dirty rooms.pests and rude receptionists. In the end we were glad we stayed away from this place. We found a way better hotel down the road called Pleno Madero ex Own Madero. Staff members were polite, professional and the hotel was clean and welcoming.What a difference!

Auf den Fotos sieht es besser aus. Das Frühstück war ok, nichts Besonderes. Service an der Rezeption etwas schlecht. Am ersten Tag riefen sie mich an und sagten, ich solle auschecken, da ich für 5 Nächte gebucht hatte. Eine kleine Verwirrung, die dazu führte, dass die Rezeptionistin eine Weile brauchte, um zu verstehen, was passiert war. Außerdem hatte ich zweimal Probleme mit der Zimmerzugangskarte und beim zweiten Mal konnte ich das Zimmer erst mit der vierten Karte betreten. Die Matratze eines der Betten war weich.

Ich war hier für zwei Nächte zu Gast - Zimmer 958. Einchecken verlief problemlos. Gebucht über booking.com - premium Doppelzimmer. Sehr geräumig, sauber, old Style aber nicht verwohnt. Gute Matratze. Zimmer hat Scharm. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und man kann auch auf der Terrasse sitzen; Samstag und Sonntag sogar bis 11/12 Uhr, top. Wäscheservice funktioniert und nach 12 Stunden war alles sauber und gebügelt zurück. Fairer Preis. Eine Wechselstube ist genau ggü. vom Hotel und ich habe dort auch Euro in ARS umgetauscht 1/222. Sehr guter Kurs; empfehle ausreichend Bargeld (USD,EUR,GBP) mitzunehmen und vor Ort zu wechseln. Macht das Leben vor Ort erheblich günstiger. Ich habe das Glück gehabt einen sehr erfahrenen und netten Guide gebucht zu haben, über TripAdvisor. Er spricht deutsch und englisch sehr gut und kennt sich zudem sehr gut aus - wir haben einen halben Tag zusammen verbracht und mit seinem neuen Auto hat er mich sicher transportiert. Echt ein Geheimtipp. Kontakt: JMHARISMENDY(at)GMAIL.COM (Juan). Einziger Wermutstropfen ist der Pool - hat den Namen eigentlich nicht verdient, aber wer geht schon in den Pool in Buenos Aires ? Wer darauf großen Wert legt, sollte ein anderes Hotel wählen. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vielen Dank an das ganze Team. Ich kann das Hotel mit gutem Gefühl weiterempfehlen.

First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

Bereits in 2019 war ich sehr zufrieden mit diesem Hotel und gerne reservierte ich für weitere fünf Nächte online und bereits zwei Monate im Voraus. Reservation und das Check-In klappten hervorragend. Das grosse und hohe Zimmer im vierten Stock bot jeglichen Komfort (Safe, TV, Abstellfläche, Garderobe, Minibar) den man sich wünscht. Überraschend gar eine kleine Terrasse mit schallisolierter Türe zur sehr stark befahrenen und lauten Av. Callao.; bei geschlossener Türe war es dadurch ruhig. Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr neu, aber durchwegs gut gepflegt. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls gross und bietet viel Abstellfläche. Die Klimaanlage kann individuell angesteuert werden, trotzdem war es uns immer viel zu kalt oder wieder zu warm. Das Personal an der Reception spricht gut englisch, ist sehr freundlich und hilft gerne jederzeit mit Ratschlägen und Tipps. Das Hotel selbst wechselt keine Fremdwährungen, kennt aber dazu einschlägige und seriöse Adressen in Gehdistanz zum Hotel. Das Frühstückbuffet ist gross und sehr reichhaltig, das Personal ist permanent damit beschäftigt dieses nachzufüllen oder Geschirr abzuräumen. Einzig der Bereich zur Bar und Lounge mit dem Tagesrestaurant passt nicht zum hohen Standard dieses Hotels. Egal zu welcher Tages- oder Nachtzeit: es ist erst einmal warten angesagt, und nochmals warten und sofern das Personal Lust dazu hat, werden sie gesehen und bedient. Auch bestelltes Essen dauert zu lange oder die Küche ist bereits geschlossen - Schade, aber es gibt einige Snackbars in der Umgebung als Alternative. Trotzdem kommen wir gerne wieder hierher zurück.

Exzellenter Service, sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel, hilfsbereite Kellner, etwas kleine, aber akzeptable Zimmergröße, leckeres Frühstück, ich mag es und empfehle es Freunden und Familie.

Die Lage war also zu gut, das stimmt. Der Preis auch gut, aber der Rest - mmm, nicht wirklich. Unser Zimmer war zu alt, als die Lüftung funktionierte, war es so laut, dass wir kaum schlafen konnten. Wir hatten sogar das Gefühl, dass es jetzt platzen und meinen Freund töten würde, der darunter schlief:) Das Frühstück - schrecklich, fast nichts. Und wir müssen erwähnen, dass unser Freundenzimmer in Ordnung war, also sollten Sie ein gutes Zimmer fordern und nach einem Wechsel fragen, wenn Sie diese auf der ältesten Etage haben. Check-in Check-out-Verfahren waren in Ordnung und insgesamt normal, aber mehr schlecht als gut.

We booked the HTL Urbano hotel on *********** for staying four times(two nights each time) during our vacation in Argentina.The very first time on November 2 through November 4, instead of the deluxe room for two they gave us a single room with a small bathtub with the slippery slanted side wall and rotating bathtub door.There is no safety handles in that bathtub.I stepped on the corner,felled with my face against the bathtub,got stitches at the hospital…We didn’t have time to talk to them,because we were busy looking for the hospital and a doctor and had the busy itineraries.After the second night we went to the Iguazu falls and left our luggage in their storage.We returned to the hotel two more times(after the trip to the Patagonia and Uruguay).We had the reservations made from home long time ago.On our last leg of the two nights stay( on November 16-18 after returning from the Colonia on the ferry,hotel informed us that our reservation was canceled, because they couldn’t approve our credit card.We had paid with the same credit card at that hotel twice for our first and third stay!We found ourselves at 10:00 pm at night without accommodation, and our luggage in the storage at HTL Urbano. Receptionists called his manager,and utter that conversation was very rude to us,refused to help,refused to let me to talk to his manager directly,refused to call a taxi for us!He said that he is nobody and the hotel doesn’t have a manager! I would recommend people to stay away from that terrible and unsafe hotel who’s employees have no integrity, not willing to help.Also hotel is located in the business area,which is deserted and unsafe at night

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! Hotel mit hervorragenden Kostenvorteil. Sehr gute Lage! Durch Bewertungen auf den Hostelsites, bitten wir, nicht im 1. Stock zu bleiben und das ist der beste Tipp, den ich geben kann. Unser Zimmer im 2. Stock war sehr ruhig! Ich denke, die Zimmer im ersten Stock müssen mit dem Lärm viel leiden, bieten einen einfachen Frühstück, das einen Kelch breitet.
