Unser erstes Hotel in BA, liegt an einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse, modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber, komfortable Zimmer, nettes Personal von der Reception bis zum Zimmermädchen. Frühstück auch sehr reichhaltig und das alles zu einem sehr tollen Preis. Wir würden sofort wieder dort übernachten.

Es war im Allgemeinen gut, aber die ein bisschen alten Sabans und ich verlor den Kaninchen des Lavamans, wir zerkauten uns immer im Badezimmer... sehr einfach, aber um ein paar Tage zu verbringen, ist es mehr als genug. Es ist komfortabel, dass es eine Küche mit einigen Geräumen, Kühlschrank und Essbereich gibt, die Sie jederzeit verwenden können. Das Zimmer mit Zentralheizung, sehr schön. Sehr gute Lage, Zentrum.

First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

Als wir nach einer langen Reise im Hotel ankamen, verlief der Check In alles andere als erfreulich. Unabhängig davon, dass wir kein Gepäck dabei hatten, weil dies noch in Deutschland war. Wir wurden gebeten, uns noch etwas zu gedulden, weil ein Double check des Zimmers durchgeführt wird. Zu der Zeit war es schon nach 16 Uhr und wir haben als Diamond Member eigentlich einen early Check in. Nach 20 Minuten wurden wir ungeduldig, da wir duschen wollten und eine Tour für 18 Uhr gebucht hatten. Erst nach insgesamt 30 Minuten konnten wir das Zimmer beziehen. Eine Begleitung seitens Concierge gab es nicht. Das Zimmer war relativ groß und hatte neben dem Bett einen kleinen Tisch nebst Sessel mit Fußablage sowie einen Arbeitsbereich. Eine Kaffeemaschine (Nespresso) gab es nicht. Das Bad war recht alt. Die Dusche bestand aus Metall und die Ränder sehr verkalkt. Für die Körperpflege gab es nur Seife. Später entdeckte ich in der Nähe der Badewanne eine kleine Flasche Duschgel nebst Badesalz. Direkt neben derToilette befand sich das BD, dazwischen der Abfalleimer. Blöde Positionierung, da es beim Spülen vollgespritzt wird. Die Handtücher waren alt, abgenutzt und teilweise kaputt mit Löchern. Ganz zu schweigen davon, dass sie schon sehr dünn waren und keinerlei Wohlgefühl da war. An einem Tag wurde sogar vergessen, die Duschvorlage zu ersetzen. Der Fön war ein Museumsstück, mangels Alternativen mussten wir diesen aber nutzen. Das Frühstück war alles andere als befriedigend. Die Auswahl sehr eingeschränkt, aber zumindest am ersten Tag alles aufgefüllt. Per Zufall kam eine Bedienung mit Pancakes, welche unseren Pfannkuchen von der Größe her ähnelten an mir vorbei. Ich orderte diese sogleich. Einen Hinweis auf Eierspeisen im Allgemeinen entdeckte ich nicht. Am Ende des überschaubaren Bufetts bereite ein Angestellter Omelettes zu. Am zweiten Tag war das Frühstücksangebot wie leer gefegt und der Saal sehr voll. Die Angestellten schafften es mangels Organisation nicht, rechtzeitig aufzufüllen. Mit Müh und Not fanden wir noch etwas zu essen. Bezüglich des Kaffees mussten wir mehrfach suchen und warten bis wir einen Angestellten fanden, der uns Cappuccino bzw. Espresso brachte. Insgesamt vom Service her enttäuschend. Die Lage des Hotels ist unter normalen Umständen sehr gut. Allerdings reisten wir per Zufall zur Siegesfeier der Fußball-WM und hatten wenig davon. Es gestaltet sich sehr schwierig, Taxen zu bekommen, da alles um das Hotel herum von Menschenmassen bevölkert war. Insofern konnten wir fast nichts von den geplanten Touren unternehmen. Zudem ist es rund um das Hotel auch sehr ungepflegt und teilweise riecht es nach Urin.

Das Zimmer ist gut, aber das Zimmer hat kein Wasser, das verbrennend ist, und es gibt kein Trinkwasser, es gibt kein Wasser im Kühlschrank, und es gibt keinen Preis. Ich habe Wasser getrunken, weil ich Medikamente essen wollte. Ich habe zusätzliche Gebühren erhoben. Es ist nicht viel.

This hotel is advertised on many websites as a 4 star hotel with very high satisfaction rate. But don’t be fooled by beautiful entrance. Once you get into the elevator everything disappears and you are welcomed into the rooms that resembles of a hostel. The rooms are terribly small. But that is not what is bad. The rooms are extremely dirty. Grime is everywhere: bathtub, faucet’s, toilets…Just look at the pictures! But here is where it gets worse. On my son’s duvet, there is an old blood stain. I had to put 3 boys in one bed even though we booked a triple room. My pillow case wasn’t changed. It was dirty and there was somebody else’s hair on it. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a clean pillow case. And even though staff speaks very little English (or in some cases no English at all) this is a conversation we had using google translate: - Hi, there is a dirty pillowcase on my pillow. Can I please get a fresh one? - No, I am sorry, the housekeeping is finished for the day (it was midnight). - That’s fine, I can change it myself but can you please give me a clean pillowcase? - I am sorry I can’t leave the front desk I am by myself. You have to wait until tomorrow morning. - And how am I going to sleep on a dirty pillow? - I am sorry there is nothing I can do until tomorrow morning. He finally told me to wait for a second and he will see what he can do after I asked him if he would sleep on a dirty pillow if it was him. 15 mins later he took me to a linens’ room where there was no pillowcases. I took one clean sheet and said I would wrap the pillow with it. If you can please avoid this place at all costs. You’ll pay premium price $150/night for a hostel experience. Unfortunately we booked 2 rooms for 5 nights and they won’t refund us, even though we wanted to leave immediately after getting into the rooms. Rooms are advertised with balconies, this one has none. Just dirty windows. I can stomach lots of things but sleeping on a dirty bed and in a dirty room- I cannot.

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! Booked online based upon recommendation from nearby hospital I was visiting. Room rate for high season was very reasonable…and it is located just one block from the Florida Street shopping and galeria! Very clean, quiet and team was outstanding in guest support, tips and recommendations for things to do (and watch out for). I collaborated online to arrange transportation from EZE (an hour away in traffic) for my pickup, as well as for my trip to the hospital and back to EZE. Billing was made to the hotel, very easy to coordinate! Breakfast buffet was very tasty and plentiful options. Well worth staying here…I will come back on future trips to BA!

Wie ein Hostel sollte laufen. Eines der besten, die ich je gehabt habe, in 20 Jahren Reisen. Gürtel, Ladegerät, Licht und eine Schließfache für jedes Bett. Große Schließfächer im Zimmer. Zimmer sind super geräumig. Sie haben individuelle Sicherheitsboxen mit einem Passwort im Empfangsbereich und einer Kamera, die sie beobachten, so dass Sie Werte hinterlassen können. Fastend sauber. Reinigt mehrmals täglich. Alle Blätter, Gürtel sind super sauber. Viele große, private Badezimmer rund um das Hostel mit kostenlosem Seife, Shampoo, Klimaanlage. Aktivitäten fast täglich von Empanada und Mathematen bis Tango-Lektionen. Eine breite Palette von gemeinsamen Bereichen: 2 große, saubere, gut gespeicherte Küchen, ein ruhiges Zimmer, ein Arbeitszimmer, ein Garten. Kostenlose Wasserversorgung. Unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereites Personal 24/7. Sicher, weil Sie jederzeit Buzz brauchen. Jemand ist da 24/7. Direkt neben Florida Calle für Geld wechseln. Die nächste U-Bahn ist 2 Minuten entfernt. Viele Geschäfte, Restaurants super nah. Einschließlich eines wirklich tollen, erschwinglichen, vegetarischen Selbstbetreuungsplatzes und ein wirklich schönes Restaurant mit großem Fleisch, wo Sie einen Rabatt für die Bereitstellung eines Hostel Kunden. Ich blieb dort zunächst und ging nach einer Reise nach Patagonia zurück. Sie haben mich gelassen, mein Gepäck zu verlassen, während ich in Patagonia war. Entschuldigung für die lange Bewertung, aber nachdem ich viel gereist und in vielen Hostels geblieben war, war ich wirklich beeindruckt, wie dieses Hostel funktioniert. Ich würde dort wieder in einem Herzschlag bleiben und es sehr empfehlen. Danke Che Juan Hostel.

Wir haben das Sofitel auch aus Gründen der Erinnerung an das ehemalige Haus in der Arroyo gebucht. Dieses Gebäude war wunderschön. Das neue Sofitel liegt ebenso sehr gut, mitten in Recoleta. Es ist ein typisches Sofitel - mit dem gewohnt guten Service. Die Lobby ist sehr schön, unsere Suite war ebenfalls ansprechend. Etwas hat gefehlt - vielleicht Blumen oder Deko. Insgesamt kann man das Sofitel absolut empfehlen! Wer in Recoleta wohnen möchte trifft eine gute Wahl.
