A lovely boutique hotel in the Retiro area near Barrio Norte. Modern renovations in the rooms and public area but retains som charm from the past. Rooms were spacious, well maintained, very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Particularly the folks at the desk. Beautiful park just in front of hotel and close to major shopping areas and sites. An excellent value for money.

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt hier gründlich. Personal war großartig, gute Auswahl an qualitativen Frühstücken. Lage ist ideal für die Exploration und in der Nähe von Metro, Tango-Shows, Restaurants usw. Nur negative. Fantastische TV und Kanäle, aber nichts in englischer Sprache oder mit Untertiteln. Wir mussten unsere eigene Unterhaltung streamen. Auch keine Kaffee-Machungsanlagen verfügbar. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie in US$ per Karte zahlen !!!

First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

Habiéndome hospedado en Ibis Congreso antes de la pandemia, veo que ha decaído ya que ha perdido algunas de sus rasgos que son importantes para el viajero de negocios como asimismo para el turista nacional y extranjero. Una pérdida muy importante es que no ofrecen ninguna computadora de escritorio siendo que hasta la pandemia habian 2. Es algo que deben restablecer y se lo hice saber a la SubGerenta, quien tuvo una actitud desafiante al respecto. Otra depreciación es que no están ofreciendo el diario de papel como lo hacán en la prepandemia, me parece una excusa pésima sostener que pude contagiar covid.... La SubGerenta sostiene que ambos empeoramientos son parte de la pol{itica de IBis en la región, sin embargo, y tal se lo refuté, en países como Brasil siguen brindando ejemplares de los periódicos en papel y hay PCs en el lobby oen un Internet corner. Lo que sigue siendo de alta calidad es el desayuno, con mucha variedad. El servicio de bar también positivo.

This hotel is old and worn down. It’s worth nothing I booked a small budget twin room, the larger rooms could be nicer? The hotel was noisy, the paint was peeling, the room was very small, but the price was right. I arrived around 11am and was looking for a place to crash for a little bit for a 12 hour layover that would let me explore the city. The front desk checked me in right away with no questions asked which was great. However the front desk was staffed by someone who didn’t speak great English, so certainly not really a bilingual hotel and not sure I could have gotten a lot of help had I needed it. The hotel was cheap at 48 usd so it served what I wanted. I would definitely think of this hotel more as a 2 star motel than a 3 star hotel. Had more hostel like vibes than a hotel. Fine for a long layover like I had but I wouldn’t stay for an extended vacation unless you get a good deal and you’re on a tight budget. Location is great, close to tourist attractions and walking distance. You have to walk a bit to get to the famous pink building in the current TA cover photo so that is a bit misleading. Easy to flag a taxi outside the hotel which was a plus.

Im Zentrum der Altstadt gelegen, das alte Hotel, Ausstattung und Einrichtungen sind relativ alt, aber zur Seebrücke, Fußgängerzone, Maiplatz und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind ganz in der Nähe, zu Fuß zu erreichen, Gepäck kann vorne aufbewahrt werden Schreibtisch, ich ging zum Südpol, um Sommerkleidung aufzubewahren, kam zurück, um zu leben

Das Zimmer ist gut, aber das Zimmer hat kein Wasser, das verbrennend ist, und es gibt kein Trinkwasser, es gibt kein Wasser im Kühlschrank, und es gibt keinen Preis. Ich habe Wasser getrunken, weil ich Medikamente essen wollte. Ich habe zusätzliche Gebühren erhoben. Es ist nicht viel.

This hotel is advertised on many websites as a 4 star hotel with very high satisfaction rate. But don’t be fooled by beautiful entrance. Once you get into the elevator everything disappears and you are welcomed into the rooms that resembles of a hostel. The rooms are terribly small. But that is not what is bad. The rooms are extremely dirty. Grime is everywhere: bathtub, faucet’s, toilets…Just look at the pictures! But here is where it gets worse. On my son’s duvet, there is an old blood stain. I had to put 3 boys in one bed even though we booked a triple room. My pillow case wasn’t changed. It was dirty and there was somebody else’s hair on it. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a clean pillow case. And even though staff speaks very little English (or in some cases no English at all) this is a conversation we had using google translate: - Hi, there is a dirty pillowcase on my pillow. Can I please get a fresh one? - No, I am sorry, the housekeeping is finished for the day (it was midnight). - That’s fine, I can change it myself but can you please give me a clean pillowcase? - I am sorry I can’t leave the front desk I am by myself. You have to wait until tomorrow morning. - And how am I going to sleep on a dirty pillow? - I am sorry there is nothing I can do until tomorrow morning. He finally told me to wait for a second and he will see what he can do after I asked him if he would sleep on a dirty pillow if it was him. 15 mins later he took me to a linens’ room where there was no pillowcases. I took one clean sheet and said I would wrap the pillow with it. If you can please avoid this place at all costs. You’ll pay premium price $150/night for a hostel experience. Unfortunately we booked 2 rooms for 5 nights and they won’t refund us, even though we wanted to leave immediately after getting into the rooms. Rooms are advertised with balconies, this one has none. Just dirty windows. I can stomach lots of things but sleeping on a dirty bed and in a dirty room- I cannot.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, das aufmerksames Personal, geräumige Zimmer, gutes Frühstücksbuffet und nettes Pool auf der Terrasse. Sicheres Gebiet mit viel Polizei.Tag und Nacht. Ich war zweimal hier, die zweite war besser.
