Amazing stay at Hotel Pabera Boutique, All staff is super friendly The staff is wonderful! Very welcoming upon arrival and throughout the whole stay. The food at the restaurant was also delicious. 7 floor have swimming it is wonderful ,very near to walk slipping god Bishnu ,While the hotel charges an amenity fee, I felt that it was actually worth it given what is included , room was very clean and comfortable , WIFI very strong . Hotel manager Pardip so helpful, Thank you and we will be back! Cheers!

Das Shambaling Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu ist eine Oase im lebhaften Treiben des Stadtteils Boudha. Nur wenige Minuten von der Boudha Stupa entfernt, in einem Umfeld vieler buddhistischer Klöster und Tempel ermöglicht das Hotel Rückzug, Ruhe und Entspannung. Ich kenne das Shambaling Hotel seit seiner Eröffnung. Über all die Jahre konnte es seinen Standart halten, vor allem dank Management und Angestellten, die sich freundlich und hilfsbereit um ihre Gäste kümmern. Die Erweiterungsbauten haben mich neugierig gemacht. Konnte das Hotel seinen Charakter, die Einheit von Architektur und Dekoration erhalten? Bei meinem diesjährigen Besuch wurde ich sehr positiv überrascht. Meine Eindrücke teile ich gern mit Interessierten Kathmandu Besuchern. Die neuen Gebäude weisen viele Merkmale tibetischer Baukunst auf, welche sich auf dem gesamten Gelände wieder finden lassen. Eingang und Rezeption sind neu, grosszügig und hell, gemütliche Sitzecken laden zum Plaudern ein. Das neu gestaltete Lungta Restaurant mit Aussensitzplätzen ist gemütlich, die künstlerische Gestaltung dezent, aber mit ausgewählter Kunst wunderbar harmonisch. An der Wand hängen Gemälde eines tibetischen Künstlers mit Variationen der 5 Elemente. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen, ganz speziell empfehlenswert ist das Himalaya Thali. Neu kann man sich im Sowa Spa, in der Sauna oder beim hoteleigenen Yoga entspannen und beleben. Auf dem gesamten Hotelgelände finden sich Grünpflanzen und Blumen in handgefertigten Tontöpfen. Auch die Zimmer im neuen Gebäude sind mit Detailliebe und nach der tibetischen Farblehre gestaltet. Das Bad ist gross, Dusche und WC separat. Die Angestellten und das Management sind nach wie vor zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Das neue Shambaling Boutique Hotel ist definitiv der schönste Ort zum Verweilen.

From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay. Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight! The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way. A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere. Ich habe in diesem wunderschönen Hotel mehrere Male geblieben. Es ist ein verstecktes Geschmack: genügend nahe der Stupa, um zu genießen, aber nicht so nah, dass Sie den Lärm bekommen. Das Personal ist freundlich und effizient, das Frühstück gut und der schöne Garten eine Oase der Ruhe. Mein Lieblingshotel in Kathmandu

Sehr gekennzeichnetes Hotel, das Frühstück ist in lokaler Stil, die Umgebung ist in Gardmond die beste, in einem grünen Garten, neben dem großen Buta ist es sehr bequem, überall zu gehen. In dem Zimmer können Sie die Landschaft von Gardmond und das Licht der Nacht von Forta sehen, der Service ist sehr gut, das Museum im Garten ist sehr charakteristisch, der Hotelpool ist sehr sauber und empfehlenswert für Freunde, die hier Geschäfte oder Touristen treffen, sehr zufrieden

Die Lage und die Zimmer sind schrecklich, der Service war absolut schrecklich. Wir gingen zur Bar, um Kaffee zu haben und erhielten seit 15 Minuten keine Anerkennung von irgendeiner der Wächter und erst nach dem Beschwerden wurden wir serviert. Das Abendessen war spät von einer Stunde und wieder nur nach Beschwerden gespielt. Entweder das Personal wurde nicht an Standard ausgebildet oder die Führung ist so schwach, dass sie nicht sehen können, welche Unverschämtheit das Personal zeigt seinen Gästen

Nice view from the room with Mountain View on the 7th floor. Bedsheets and towels changed daily, water bottles provided everyday for free. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Very convenient 24h room service if you need anything to eat or drink in the middle of the night.

Everyone was extremely hospital and extremely accomodating. The went out of their way to see to all our needs. They even let us check out later due to our later flight. make our stay delightful. Food was excellent. The view from the rooftop was magnificent 👌 😋 👍 👏 🙌 😀

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, its located just inside the main square. Room was comfortable and clean. The focal point of the property is its view of the durbar square from the rooftop. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt hier. Der Blick ist einfach fantastisch und das Frühstück sehr sehr sehr gut. Das Abendbuffet haben wir nicht genutzt, da wir immer lieber in den Ort gegangen sind. Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas ”abseits” - aber auch abends ist das mit einem kleinen Fußmarsch gut machbar. Abends werden Feuerkörbe entzündet und tagsüber kann man auf einer der vielen Terrassen herrlichen in der Sonne chillen. Wir hatten auch eine gute Massage. Getränkepreise sind auch ok. Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich.
