Hotel Sabrina has exceeded my expectations and is great value for money in Kathmandu. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the facilities, including the bathroom, are excellent. All rooms have a separate balcony to sit and enjoy the view over the city and the nearby mountains. The rooftop restaurant, which is far above the roofs of the surrounding buildings, is the hotel's unique selling point. The ambience and the outstanding quality of the food invite you to linger. In addition, there is a cosy infinity pool and a very well-stocked fitness centre. I visited the latter almost every day during my stay and was very happy with the high-quality equipment. The hotel is located in the much quieter north of the city. Nevertheless, it is easily accessible by public transport, taxis and Pathao, the Nepalese Uber app. For day hiking, the beautiful Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is basically just around the corner. Shivapuri Peak, at 2,732 meters altitude, overlooks the whole of Kathmandu valley and offers stunning views of the Langtang Massif, including the Langtang peak at 7,234 meters altitude. Finally, I would like to highlight the staff. Rarely have I experienced such helpful, friendly and attentive service personnel. Individual requests were always addressed, and I was also given great support with special requests. For example, I had forgotten my headphones on my plane and needed help to reach the Lost and Found Office. The staff then assisted me to research the correct contact numbers and organized a car to bring me to the airport and back to reclaim my headphones. Overall: A fantastic stay, and next time I come to Nepal, I will definitely come back here!

Ein paar Tage geblieben, scheint dieses Hotel nur eine Renovierung ( alles) ist neu und sauber Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und freundlich Das Zimmer, in dem ich geblieben war, war perfekt sauber und neue Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden bereitgestellt, es hatte auch einen Balkon;) Das Stadtzentrum ist wie 35 Gehminuten und mit dem Auto/Bikes 10min. Ich werde dieses Hotel sicherlich wieder buchen, wenn ich Kathmandu besuche.

Sehr gekennzeichnetes Hotel, das Frühstück ist in lokaler Stil, die Umgebung ist in Gardmond die beste, in einem grünen Garten, neben dem großen Buta ist es sehr bequem, überall zu gehen. In dem Zimmer können Sie die Landschaft von Gardmond und das Licht der Nacht von Forta sehen, der Service ist sehr gut, das Museum im Garten ist sehr charakteristisch, der Hotelpool ist sehr sauber und empfehlenswert für Freunde, die hier Geschäfte oder Touristen treffen, sehr zufrieden

One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay. Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight! This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. Ich habe in diesem wunderschönen Hotel mehrere Male geblieben. Es ist ein verstecktes Geschmack: genügend nahe der Stupa, um zu genießen, aber nicht so nah, dass Sie den Lärm bekommen. We stayed here 3 times as we travelled back and forth in Nepal, passing through Kathmandu. An excellent hotel and we managed to negotiate a good deal. The staff are very friendly and cooperative - just tell the chef what you want and he'll go and buy it in the local market. Comfortable beds and hot showers.

Die Lage und die Zimmer sind schrecklich, der Service war absolut schrecklich. Wir gingen zur Bar, um Kaffee zu haben und erhielten seit 15 Minuten keine Anerkennung von irgendeiner der Wächter und erst nach dem Beschwerden wurden wir serviert. Das Abendessen war spät von einer Stunde und wieder nur nach Beschwerden gespielt. Entweder das Personal wurde nicht an Standard ausgebildet oder die Führung ist so schwach, dass sie nicht sehen können, welche Unverschämtheit das Personal zeigt seinen Gästen

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, its located just inside the main square. Room was comfortable and clean. The focal point of the property is its view of the durbar square from the rooftop. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
