The Hotel Unforgettable - Hotel Tiliana by Homoky Hotels & Spa

The hotel itself is a bit out of the way but we knew this before we came. The facilities and rooms are absolutely spotless and the staff extremely courteous and polite . Breakfast was ok -nothing special I wouldn’t say but certainly did the job . No frills . I recommend for a quiet break.

Upon arrival greeted by very friendly reception. Rooms were very clean as is whole hotel. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Asked for extra hangers and they were delivered to the room. Comfortable beds, high power hair dryer. Only downside is no kettle just a coffee machine. Also pillows were in need of replacement. Breakfast as buffet style, lots of choice but a bit but hit and miss on how warm food was. Good quality coffee machine. Different bread and something for everyone. Only complaint was the food in the restaurant was only warm. Burger. Fish, steak and other local dish were less than lukewarm and plates were cold. The waitress was horrified and very apologetic when she noticed I had not eaten my meal and I said it was cold,she offered to heat it in the microwave which I declined. To renew my faith she provided and excellent free dessert but I was a still charged for the cold meal. If in uk we would of returned all meals which is a shame as they looked good quality. Nice seating areas round the hotel to relax. Thank you to all the staff for all their help with directions and service with a smile. This hotel is out of the tourist area but you can get a bus within 5 mins walk and then a tram which added to the fun. Recommend getting a travel ticket to hop on and off.

Hotel ist okay but not good enough to be a 4star Hotel. The rooms, pool, food and everything needed an improvement. Moreover lost our thing from the room. 100% sure that we left on the bed. Must be careful to leave things in the room.

Rooms have some technical/constructive imperfections, but they are clean. If there is a wedding party and your room has windows to that background party house, you have no chance to sleep, because of loud noise and music. Maybe there is no night calm.

Nice and perfectly clean room, good wellness and excellent food! If you want to escape from the jungle of Budapest then you founded your place here. The staff is friendly and helpful, doing their job. The kitchen is amaizing with great service!

Nice Location, Lovely rooms and Hotel, Amazing food. Massively let down by exceptionally rude, uninterested and very very lazy staff, which if I was the owner or manager I would be deeply concerned about this, but my general feeling of the Hotel Tiliana is no one actually cares. I was here for work for 2 weeks, I am used to living in Hotel's all over Europe for work and this is by far the worst experience I have had so far. I would genuinely warn you from staying here. On arrival no information given about anything just a room card, it took 40 minutes to check in as a new employee, no problem, but when I was lying on a couch playing on my phone after 12 hours of travel I was willing the other staff to step in and speed up this lengthy ordeal. Nope, football was on the big screen behind reception and that was all they cared about. On receiving my room card I laughed and asked how do I get to my room? What do I do for breakfast, for dinner, where is the fitness suite? 3 male reception staff were more interested in the football on the TV behind reception desk so I was pointed to a lift. Okay by this point after a long day i am getting really mad, but I will figure it out myself. I used the ATM at reception. it took £200 and gave me nothing but took the money from my bank account. I asked the receptionist. He shrugged his shoulders and said tough "different business". Disgruntled I went to my room and I sent an email to the hotel from my room that night explaining my predicament and asking for a little help as I didn't speak Hungarian and I was £200 out of pocket from the ATM at their hotel and I mentioned the receptionist wasn't interested. To my horror the angry receptionist who had obviously read my email turned up at my room door late at night and said he would sort in the morning to the point I poked him in the chest and said you better leave my room!! For the next 12 days he never made eye contact with me or spoke about my lost money again. He never helped or mentioned it again for the 12 days I was just completely ignored me, i just accepted my £200 was gone. I quickly realised there was no point pursuing as no-one in hotel actually cared. Restaurant, lady with blonde hair sits playing on her phone on the table opposite the bar, while the others lounge outside the patio doors and smoke. After 15 minutes waiting while she chuckled away to her phone I left and went elsewhere to the Remis restauarant down the road and no one noticed or even cared. I mentioned the poor service it at reception on my way past, but not interested, the football was on. The next day, determined to be served by any of the staff smoking and playing on phones I stood for 15 minutes at the bar while the restaurant waitress played on her phone. A female manager type lady with short hair and glasses walked by and spoke to her quite abruptly. She was then very rude to me, told me to sit down and she would serve me, even though I had stood by myself for 15 minu
