Hotels in der Nähe von Antic ExLibris, Bukarest

Wir haben einige Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht und wir waren besonders beeindruckt von der Freundlichkeit des Personals, besonders von der Frau Simona Anton, Managerin on Duty. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt, immer kompetent und mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir bei guten Bekannten waren, die uns warmherzig und mit Achtung behandelt haben. Wirklich schön! Wir gratulieren die Managerin und ihre Kollegen für diese Einstellung und bedanken wir uns ganz herzlich. Und noch zwei Sachen, die uns Freude gebracht haben: - die perfekte Klimaanlage im Zimmer - das Frühstück sehr divers vorbereitet (und auch lecker vegan dazu). Danke nochmals.

Hervorragende Lage mitten im Herzen der Altstadt von Bukarest. Das Zimmer ist groß und bietet Platz für Gepäck. Das Frühstück ist gut, die Angestellten sind ausgezeichnet in ihrem Service, nicht nur freundlich, sondern helfen uns auch bei der Kontaktaufnahme mit dem örtlichen Uber-Fahrer für den Transfer aufgrund der begrenzten Auffahrt. Die Hintertür führt zum Eingang in Richtung Altstadt, während die Haupttüren zur U-Bahn und zum Transport über die Hauptstraße führen sollen. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn Sie direkt in der Altstadt übernachten möchten und die Qual der Wahl zwischen verschiedenen Restaurants, Pubs und Geschäften haben.

When i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can

Personal: war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, Englischsprachig Zimmer: sauber, angenehm empfehlenswert Lage: sehr gut, aber mit Straßengeräuschen und für Langschläfer, Achtung Kirche in der Nähe

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel, 1 km vom Zentrum entfernt. Seriöses und kompetentes Personal, ausgezeichnetes internationales Frühstück. schönes Badezimmer und sehr geräumiges Zimmer. Minibar, Haartrockner und Hausschuhe. Netflix, Disney usw. funktionieren... Ich würde sagen, ausgezeichnet! Bett ohne Oberteil ist nicht top.... kleiner Parkplatz für Autos. Probleme mit der Schalldämmung und Rauchgeruch durch rauchende Personen im Gebäude.

Als ich zum Hotel Tranzzit angekommen war, gab es absolut keine Mannschaft. Gewährung, es war um 11:00, aber die Website enthält keine Eincheck-Zeit-Liste (es beginnt um 2:00 Uhr). Ich wartete etwa 45 Minuten auf jemanden, der sich anwesend war, und der Ankunftsmitglied war nicht sehr freundlich oder kommuniziert. Nach einigen Rücken und vor mir wurde mir gesagt, dass sie keine Aufzeichnungen über meine Buchung aber ich hatte gerade einen Telefonanruf von ihnen am Tag vor (keine Nachricht links) so dass sie sicherlich meine Informationen hatten. Der Nachtrezeptor zeigte mir die persönlichen Informationen aller anderen, die dort verblieben, um zu fragen, ob ich mit diesen Gästen verblieben würde, was wie ein Verstoß gegen die Privatsphäre schien. Er fragte, ob ich noch bezahlt habe, und ich sagte nein, aber er gab mir die Schlüssel und ließ mich ins Zimmer ohne zu bezahlen. Sehr merkwürdige Eincheck-Erfahrung. Das Zimmer war insgesamt nicht schlecht. Leider war ich direkt neben der Rezeption im Zimmer und Sie können absolut alles hören, so dass ich jeden Tag durch den Telefonanruf oder das Gespräch mit den Leuten aufgewacht wurde. Die Rezeptionisten waren sehr freundlich, obwohl sie nicht Englisch sprechen, und ich habe sichergestellt, dass ich für meinen Aufenthalt am Morgen zahlen werde. Mein Zimmer hatte ein großes Bett, ein Kleidung, ein Badezimmer, ein Fenster zu einem Außenseite und ein Fernseher obwohl ich nie das Fernsehen versucht, wie Sie alles von der Lobby hören konnten und umgekehrt. Kein heißes Wasser am ersten Tag, aber der zweite Tag war gut. Soap and shower gel ist in das Badezimmer enthalten. Kein Kühlschrank oder Kehle im Zimmer, aber es gibt eine Küche. Frühstück ist nicht enthalten, aber ein Kaffee pro Tag ist erlaubt, wenn Sie die Rezeption bitten, es zuzubereiten. Wi-Fi ist für Rumänien unmerklich spitz und würde jeder Minute oder so angeschlossen und abgekoppelt. Das große Thema ist nicht nur Preis, sondern auch Lage. Sie sind nur etwa 8 Minuten von der Gara de Nord entfernt und es gibt auch eine Waschmaschine auf dem Weg. Viele Mega Image-Lager in der Nähe und sogar ein schöner Park. Metro, etc. sind alle günstig gelegen. Es ist sehr einfach, in die Altstadt und die Gegend mit dem Atheneum zu gehen. Insgesamt habe ich meinen Aufenthalt hier nicht hassen. Es war ein bisschen schrecklich und seltsam, aber die Tagesrezeptoren waren sehr süß und feig, mit meinem fast nicht vorhandenen rumänischen, hahaha. Ich würde hier noch einmal für eine oder zwei Nächte bleiben, wenn ich mit dem Zug reise.

This hotel is aesthetically beautiful, the rooms are decorated to a high standard with nothing to fault. Staff were helpful. Our only let down would be location is out of city centre a good 45 minute walk, or rely on Uber and the continental breakfast was a little underwhelming and lacked choice and variety. Coffee not served at breakfast is an extra charge which I’ve never found elsewhere during travels especially when there is no drink making facilities in the room. Beautiful hotel, location more suited for business not a city break and things like breakfast and drink making aren’t great. On a positive note the neighbours dog who visits the front door is lovely and friendly.

The hotel is situated a few metres from the Gara de Nord railways station and underground station, so it is very easy to reach. The check-in procedure was fast, room clean with a large bed, toilet, shower, TV set, hairdryer etc. The door is card-operated, mine unfortunately didn´t work properly, so I had to go to the reception desk twice but the girl was really helpful. Breakfast is served in the adjacent building from 7 .00 to 10.30, quite a good range of things to choose from. Wi-fi connection strong and stable. Next time in Bucharest I will definitely try to get a room here again.

Hotel My Continental Gara De Nord provided a solid base for our four days of exploring Bucharest. A very convenient location, regarding the metro and railway station; and within a walkable distance (around 20 min) to the centre. The hotel was clean and safe; our room offered everything we needed and general ambience was pleasant. What deserves a special mention, is the restaurant staff at breakfast times (good-humoured and very professional) as well as breakfast on offer – plentiful, fresh and tasty. Also, a nice vibe there in the evenings with an attentive and lovely gentleman at the bar. Thank you for a positive experience, looking forward to coming back …

Someone might ask why 5/5 ! Short story I want to tell you about our long journey from country being in a war. Don’t know why bout we choose that hotel “ IBIS Style Bucharest Airport Hotel “ now I can see it’s was good choice! We just stepped in with no reservations at all after 20h of trip 😬 The hotel staff sorted us out with no questions asked even they were busy enough! We will try the best we can for you! And they did it! It’s special thanks for this, for professional support and service also nice and clean room and good food! 🙌🙌 I would recommend to you all!
