We stayed last night in one of the bungalows at the Lodge. The room was really nice, rustic and in a very picturesque setting. We got up early this morning for sunrise, then a nap before setting off on the next leg of our trip. The room was really warm when we got back to it, which was very welcome as it was so cold outside watching the sun (like around 50f). The location is amazing.... however, when getting dressed this morning and needing a hot shower, we discovered only freezing cold water! We went to main reception to report it, to be told that as the buildings are 100 years old we should not expect to have hot water. The customer service was very poor, and from the first clerk not even an apology, or an offer of a different room to shower and wash. He said he could send maintenance, but they couldn't do much. We checked out not feeling like valued customers, and not clean. We paid over $400 for the privilege. Great location, but the staff and facilities could do much better.

What a stunning setting for these beautiful lodges, set minutes from the canyon rim. lovely cosy clean room with it’s own private balcony. we stayed in sunrise lodge and it was perfect, a big shoutout to the housekeeper who serviced our room 105, she did a super job. The restaurant in the main lodge was also excellent with friendly staff at dinner and breakfast. Front desk staff were also very friendly and really helpful, I would 100% recommend a stay here.

The lodges were a lot nicer than the reviews would suggest. We were in sunset motel and our only complaints were the lack of lighting. Other than that, fab location! A massive shout out to Will on the checkin desk. The friendliest, kindest and most informative check-in process we had out of 7 hotels. Will had great tips and knowledge, highlighting suggestions on a map for us. Couldn’t get friendly costumer service. You’d be welcome to London anytime 🤩

I booked my stay months in advance. On my arrival I was very disappointed to find that I was not in the actual historic lodge and instead in a dated building with no air-conditioning. Expensive stay for a cheap motel experience. This is my very first TripAdvisor post ever.

Location is absolutely amazing, you just walk to the rim in a minute from your cabin. So far the good part of my review. The cabin I stayed in was like a medieval Hansel and Gretel house, very old and extremely dirty. Still cannot believe we needed to pay almost 400$ for this one night stay. The food in the lodge and the service is something to avoid as well. Better go to the Valhalla pizzeria for pizza and coffee, or take food with you from the shops before entering Bryce NP.

They are the only game in town and they know it. The location is A+, so it is super convenient to the rim overlooking the amphitheater and for that alone may be worthwhile for some, including us. However, the lodge itself is just OK, the staff OK, some were nice and some were indifferent. When we checked in, she gave us the wifi info and said “good luck with it”. Pretty much didn’t work but the area has decent LTE. Important to know that there is no elevator in the Sunrise building, nor air conditioning. We slept w windows open and kept room door open for circulation but didn’t help much, and the portable fans they provided were so dusty we decided not to use them. In the summer it will be warm even though the evening temps cool down. The screen doors have visible cracks so bugs can get through. The restaurant was fine, staff was nice, food ok. We weren’t there for the food. Overall, there are many little things the Lodge can do to make it a better experience. The access to the walking trails and beautiful views are why you stay here.

The park is amazing! We stayed in the Sunrise Lodge. The rooms were large and clean with good amenities. We had our own porch with a seating area. Our stay was worth a five but the dining options lowered the score to a four. The dining room only offered a buffet. The 3 main lunchtime entrees were over cooked (burned or dry). Breakfast buffet was a bit better. There were several people on the wait staff but very few diners. A small coffee shop by the lodge is no longer open. There is a camp store at the park but it is only open until 4:00. There are only a few dining options outside of the park. Come prepared with your own food and stay at one of the lodges.
