Meadow View B&B

Was turning up quite late so rang ahead to let them know , so accommodating with a nice slice of cake in my room when I got there , comfy room and bed that I couldn’t fault nice quite surroundings and a nice en-suite I would highly recommend a visit if your in the area

We loved our stay at Meadow View B&B. Helen was a fantastic hostess, very friendly and accommodating. Book direct with her and she will make sure you get the room that fits your needs best. (We did not do this and ended up in the smaller room, which was fine but it was a little tight with our luggage.) The food was delicious and she will cook to order whatever you want for breakfast. Our favorites were her wheaten bread and overnight oats. The inn is located in a beautiful, quiet and remote location so for pub-life you will need to go a little out of town but Helen arranged a car service for us one night, free of charge. The house was clean and felt like we were staying at Grandma’s. We will definitely return the next time we visit Northern Ireland.

At very short notice, Helen was able to accommodate myself and my wife through the Christmas period. We travel a lot to N.Ireland, and I have to say this is absolutely the finest place we have stayed in all our years of doing so. The welcoming could not have been warmer, the rooms are very well equipped and it is safe to say that our stay at Meadowview rescued our Christmas. A true County Antrim gem, run by wonderful people who could not do enough to make our stay a memorable one. Although off the beaten track, the B+B is close to the A26, and all routes north and south are easily accessible from there. Wifi is very good, the TVs are modern, the beds are very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. The excellent breakfast that was prepared for us individually each day, set us up for the whole day and we were very thankful for that, as we had a lot of travelling to do. I cannot speak highly enough of the Meadowview B+B and we will definitely be back! I must also mention the great and friendly service that we received from Jenny who is always on hand and helping Helen, and also Michael, whose tireless work in the kitchen is vital to this wonderful operation ;-)

Helen is so welcoming and such a lovely host - assisted by Jenny who is equally as nice. Bed was so comfortable and rooms were clean and cosy. Food was gorgeous-home made wheaten bread still hot from the oven and homemade jams and marmalade! Helen could start another business selling them! Would totally recommend-thank you Helen for a lovely stay with you -Sharon and family xx

This was our first visit to Ireland and the first place we stopped. To say that the facilities and the welcome given by Helen and her friend Jenny was outstanding is an understatement. Look no further... this is a beautiful place to stay and the welcome and attention to detail given by Helen is faultless. Helen's culinary skills are superb.
