Oswestry

As is usual for Premier Inn, our room was clean and comfortable. Kelsey (who served breakfast) deserves a special mention. She was outstanding, greeting everyone with a genuinely friendly welcome, providing great service throughout the meal, and advice on local places of interest. Compliments also to the chef for the lovely scrambled eggs - delicious!

Traveling from West Wales to Yorkshire wanted somewhere to stay overnight to break the journey up so we booked Premier Inn at Oswestry online It was after 10 pm we checked in and was greeted by a lovely lady behind the reception desk who was very polite , welcoming and had plenty of time to make sure we we were going to have a nice stay We were on the ground floor, lovely clean room , spotless infact , super comfy bed , only problem was because we were the furthest room down the corridor that we couldn't connect to the free Wi-Fi, which wasn't a big issue for us Breakfast was served in the adjacent restaurant and again greeted by lovely pleasant staff who took our room number and showed us where to sit and where everything was Great choice of high quality food available , I went for the poached egg on toast with mushrooms and beans which was spot on, my wife who opted for the continental option was spoilt for choice . Staff were always available if needed and it was so nice throughout our short stay that all staff seemed happy which is unlike other places where it seems they are there for themselves and not to have a happy helpful manner towards guests .A very happy comfortable and relaxing stay with clean rooms , happy helpful staff , will definitely use again 👍

The fan in the bathroom was broken, the air conditioning dried us out, the windows could not be opened so we felt very claustrophobic, the bed was too hard and we sweated all night. We did tell the receptionist but they said they would tell management

The reception and housekeeping team were some of the friendliest and most helpful staff whilst maintainting their professionalism. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and there was a flat pillow available for my use. The whole team appeared to be happy and the housekeeper sang as she was cleaning the bedrooms. It made me smile. If I visit family again in Oswestry I would book the Premier Inn again.

Stayed here as a base for a wedding anniversary weekend. Great room, great food. Staff wonderful. Very central to loads of places to visit. Llangollen railway and numerous National Trust properties. Makes an ideal location as the starting place to discover Snowdonia and beyond.

Comfortable night. Typical Premier Inn with all the usual facilites - useful to have plugs next to beds. Nice freshly cooked breakfast - thank you to Alfie and Karen for a lovely breakfast experience. Hotel is in a good location for travelling between Chester and south west while avoiding M6.
