ABSOLUTELY DISCUSSING HOTEL. This hotel as to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in by far. We ended up here because the Hampton Inn was fully booked, we were just passing through Brockville on a road trip east. I checked the online reviews and thought it’s not too bad so we will give it a try. They had just recently started allowing pets in the rooms, so we asked to have a room that had not had any pets in them, so the front desk lady accommodated us, or so she said. The carpet was absolutely ridiculously dirty, there are no words to describe how dirty it actually was. The room overall felt very dirty, the bathtub had chalking missing or just falling off in several places between the tub and tiles, the wall tiles were dirty, and the bathroom was just filthy, they need to hire new cleaning staff and do some maintenance. And I do not believe for one minute that this room was not used for pets. We both slept with our clothes on it was so dirty. I am flabbergasted that the owners would have the nerve to charge $200 for rooms in this hotel, the hotel should be closed down until they can bring it up to somewhere near acceptable place to stay. Shame on me for not leaving this !xxiihole, but we kind of had our hands tied or go sleep in the car. I complained to the girl checking us out in the morning and received an email with an apology and telling us they took $20 off the bill. What a joke!!!! The least they should have done is offered us a free night at another IHG property, so we could use it at a clean hotel.
