From the moment we checked in Anna and Boyd made us feel so welcome. Rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. The evening meal (steak pie ) was delicious and the breakfast was genuinely up there with the best I’ve had. Quality ingredients that were perfectly cooked. Can’t recommend this place enough as a base to explore the New Forest. Thank you for helping making our cycling break so enjoyable.

Exceptional service at The Huntsman. The accommodation and food were excellent, provided by the Landlords Anna and Boyd. We stayed 4 days to tour the New Forest and enjoyed great ale and food in the restaurant. Looking forward to a return trip.

We absolutely love The Huntsman. This was our second visit, the first time being this time last year. The rooms are tastefully converted stables around a courtyard garden. There are picnic benches and tables for those not wishing to use the main pub garden. The hotel is attractive with a fantastic beer garden, unexpectedly spacious. We had booked bed and breakfast and also ate in in our first night. A varied restaurant menu with delicious food. The team are professional and friendly. Great spot. Thank you to all of The Huntsman team. We will be back, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful country pub - gorgeous room with an extremely comfortable super king size bed. Lovely staff who were attentive and speedy when ordering the delicious food and wine (some really great non-alcoholic options too). Thank you to the friendliest hosts ever!!

We recently stayed for a midweek break at The Huntsman in Brockenhurst. Our room was a free upgrade on the first floor, and although it overlooked a busy road we slept well in a very comfortable bed. The rooms on the first floor are due to be refurbished in November so it would be nice to return to see what improvements have been made. The staff were brilliant: especially the 2 waitresses and the barman who were friendly, helpful and efficient. Boyd, Anna and the team helped make our stay very enjoyable.

We had a lovely stay at The Huntsman with our friends. The Landlords were very welcoming on arrival. The room was a good size with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed! There were several choices for breakfast and the staff were all friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

A truly fabulous pub in a perfect location in the New Forest. We stayed one night with friends and will return as soon as we can. Bedrooms stylish and comfortable. Great food, great drinks, lovely garden and super staff. What more can you ask for!

The Huntsman was the perfect base for our bike ride in the New Forest. Check in and out were a breeze and Anna and Boyd were very welcoming hosts. Rooms clean and comfortable and the eggs Benedict and full English to die for. Highly recommended.

Booked meal in advance. Arrived not busy at all. Table not ready for 7 people (4.45pm). Waiting Staff helpful & courteous. Waited for our meal for almost an hour. Food moderate in temperature & the general feeling was the food was ok. Slow to bring drinks order, beore meal. It felt like we'd arrived after a busy Saturay lunch service and everybody was gearing for Saturday evening. Probably would not return.
