The location is great but the hotel really smells bad. They need to put at least air refreshers everywhere.

Best location and very good service the staff friendly

The youth hostel is friendly, great kitchen facilities, clean and all equipment needed. Hostel dorm was clean, spacious and great view of Bristol harbour. Highly recommend, cheap and cheerful stay in a great location

Normal hostel, poor ventilation in the room but the price was low

Yha as always the best..we booked a 3 person room. The location is besides the harbour just in centre of all the hustle bustle as well as quietness! Only one downside the room that is separate than other dorm rooms is located on the top level. The heater or some pipe kept on making noise when ever the winds were strong or any flight went from above (I guess) Positive side: the room comes with skylight..you are able to see stars and moon on a clear night..thus you can sleep glazing at the stars :)

Satisfactory but there was a lot of smell, way is through bar, also time limit till 10pm, but host was responsive....

Great location and staff were very friendly. Room was spacious and had toilet and shower built onto the room rather than being shared across other rooms.

This was our first trip to Bristol. We arrived early, and made use of the hostel cafe to have a coffee and read our books while waiting to check in. The rest of the food & drink menu seemed reasonable, and it seemed a popular cafe with passers-by as well as hostel residents during our stay. It helps that it's in such a vibrant area. Check-in was easy, and reception had recommendations of things to do on our first trip to Bristol. We had dorm beds. The rooms were comfortable, and although small, were spacious enough for 4 occupants. The radiator on the wall didn't seem to be working but there was another one plugged in, which along with being on the top floor, helped keep the room warm in January. Warning that the stairs up to the dorms can be hard work, especially if, like me, you end up on floor 5! (There is a lift serving the ground floor to floor 4. I stuck with the stiars aas an excuse for the exercise and to get my steps in!) The walls do seem quite thin, but everyone was respectful of keeping the noise down overnight. Just be careful with doors off the stairwell as they're a little noisy to close. I did on one afternoon mention to reception staff that topping up toilet paper in a couple of the 5th floor bathrooms had been missed - it got sorted pretty quickly (thankyou team for listening and sorting). The showers are pretty powerful and temperature easy to adjust. The self cater kitchen on the 1st floor is well equipped and we enjoyed using this.

Single room was in the eaves with only a sloping window for light and ventilation. It was ridiculously hot even having had the blind closed. Blind was badly fitting so when closed there was still light pouring in straight onto the pillow end of the bed. To get any ventilation the window had to be open which let in even more light and gave very little breeze. There was a fan but it was noisy. The corridor is noisy and all doors bang when they shut so you hear every movement to shared toilet and shower facilities. No towels or duvet covers. Very expensive for terrible room that looked comfortable in the photos. Room was very narrow with a sink sticking out into the space and no head room for half the space and terrible if are tall.

Was really nice, and we rest so good. They also have upstairs a kitchen if you want to do any food by your self! Have a lot of groceries close and bar if you are looking for them! And the ubication is the best! In the middle of everything. Not was noisy to be honest I could sleep so good and the beds are comfy
