Premier Inn Bridgwater North (A38)

The restaurant is about to undergo some major renovation & was not open to the public. We were not made aware of this until we had checked in & bought the meal deal.When we went there at 6pm it was closed although were told it would open at 5:30.THe restaurant was dark & cold.We were told that sveral items on the menu were unavailable, as was the house white wine .Our meals were not fully warmed .Al in all almost unsatisfactory.It should be added that the breakfast the next mornings fine

Not up to Premier inn usual standard . Room allocated on arrival was on 2nd floor even though receptionist could see my husband walked with a stick. We had two suitcases and it took us 15minutes to get to the room. Reasonably clean room, curtains did not meet so light was apparent at night. Bed ok.Only other seating was 1 bucket chair and a hard dining type chair. We have aways had a chaise lounge type bed in other hotels. We were told that restaurant was busy and when we went there it had about 10couples seated and a table was not available for 45minuites. We declined and were glad we hadn't booked a meal deal!! Breakfast was ok but plates for main food were cold. Wouldn't stay here again and the contrast between the next Premier Inn at Minehead was considerable chalk & cheese!

The kettle and tea bags were the only good thing. Very poor hygiene and no cleaning done at all despite a four night stay. Unpleasant smell in the room. Poor heating system. No shelves or cupboards for personal belongings. Uncomfortable bed. Breakfast quality needs improvement.

Just stopped overnight as part of a road trip. Service from the staff excellent. Cosy room very clean lovely breakfast in the morning. Spacious car park close to motorway. Would stay again . Thanks

The premier inn itself is in a good area and there’s plenty shops around. However the rooms were small and had no air conditioning. The connected restaurant was lacking staff and shut down without notice however the food in there was decently good. There also isn’t alot around for younger kids so we had to drive around quite a lot.

Bed looked like it had already been slept in and didn’t look like it had changed. No one staying at the hotel had room keys so had to wait for staff to take us back to our rooms as well as everyone else - obviously not the hotels fault but it was an inconvenience. I had an accessible room and the bottom of the shower chair looked like it was covered in mould

Comfy standard hotel which was quiet and peaceful and in a convenient location for us to visit friends. Breakfast in the adjacent facility was very good too. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Would stay again. Good shower, widescreen TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

Anoyed, booked an evening meal at the pub next door Pub was closed told they cannot get the staff, would of been nice to be advised prior to trip. Stayed here some years back and it great, gone down hill now Quite dirty

We arrived to find they had closed the restaurant without notice so we had to drive to town. The room had not been cleaned. No air conditioning so 28.5c at night. The standard was like Travelodge before they refurbished. We have been using Premier since their start in the 90;s when owned by Scottish and Newcastle. This is the worst we have experienced.
