Amazing! This place is not your typical all inclusive. It’s not average Buffett food with cheap alcohol and obnoxious drinks with loud music everywhere. It’s a smaller boutique style resort. Intimate, so clean and beautiful, amazing service from the friendliest workers, and the food is absolutely delicious! The Buffett has the freshest, hottest and home made meals. It’s small, but I’m picky and don’t eat fish and I never ever went hungry. Only place that has AC beauty your room is inside the Buffett. But you eat your meals with no AC. It gets hot even at night for dinner. Went to Sizzle for steak and wow! Amazing filet minion.! Went twice two nights in a row. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

Wir haben vor unserer Kreuzfahrt nur eine Nacht im Hotel übernachtet. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Wir hatten Meerblick, zu empfehlen, wenn man in die andere Richtung schaut, dann blickt man auch über die Bucht, aber hat davor den Hotelparkplatz. Dieses Hilton hat sicher keinen europäischen 5 Sterne Standard. Natürlich ist es schwierig, in diesen klimatischen Verhältnissen immer alles tip top zu halten, aber vieles wirkt hier abgewohnt. Der Strand ist wunderschön, das Poolareal leider rundherum betoniert, nicht sehr ansprechend. Der Service ist wechselnd, je nach Person zwischen freundlich und genervt. Der Zimmerpreis war im Rahmen, die Extrakosten sind, wie alles auf Barbados, komplett überteuert. Frühstück für 2 umgerechnet 75,00 €. Dafür war es nichts besonderes, die Eierstation war gut, alles andere mäßig, kaum Auswahl. Zum Glück kann man mit schönem Blick auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Es gibt eine kleine Snackbar in der Lobby, in der man ”To Go” kaufen kann, da sind die Preise etwas gemäßigter. In der direkten Umgebung des Hotels leider keine Alternativen zum Frühstücken. Abends haben wir eine Kleinigkeit in der kleinen Bar am Strand gegessen, auch teuer, aber verglichen mit dem Frühstück okay. Für ein bis zwei Nächte okay, einen längeren Urlaub würde ich hier nicht verbringen wollen. Da gibt es an der Westküste schönere Alternativen.

Der Strand ist verschwunden, die Lage des Hotels ist verschwunden, und der Hotelhall ist der Strand. Es ist die Anlage etwas alt, aber es ist nicht möglich, das Hotel ist zu lange alt. Es gibt einen scharfen Wind der Barbados, also was nötig ist, nicht beeilen, langsam warten. Nach fünf Tagen, die Wasserleitung explodierte einmal, alles schwitzte, konnte nicht waschen, das ist etwas spezifischer. Die anderen sind sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück ist gut.

Super Team, das Zimmer war echt Super, kann man Bedenkenlos empfehlen! Alles super Sauber, Klimanlage perfekt , die Aussicht direkt aufs Meer, ruhig gelegen, Supermarkt in der Nähe, unddie Preise sind Human.Preis im Hotel abgefragt war günstiger.

Went on business last week with a diverse group from all over the Caribbean. It was an excellent trip. Extremely courteous staff throughout all areas of operations. Many small gestures done. Buffet breakfast were large, varied and tasty; included an omelette station, fresh baked bread / pastries, etc. Rooms and bathrooms were always cleaned every day and properly re-stocked (small handwritten notes to guests). They brought in fresh coconuts one day during one of our business sessions!! Beach is across the street, 5 min walk. My only peeve was the stay was not recorded on my Marriott BonVoy account despite pointing it out on arrival (I’ll have to follow up). Will look forward to next visit there. Great value for money.

Ich bin nicht sicher, warum dieses Hotel so schreckliche Bewertungen erhält. Wir dachten, es war brillant! Das Personal war immer freundlich zu uns. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich (und täglich während unseres Aufenthalts gereinigt) mit viel Schrankraum und Ziegel. Die Dusche war immer heiß und leistungsfähig und das Badezimmer hatte Toiletten und einen Haartrockner. Unser Zimmer war in einem ruhigen Block im Hotelkomplex und wir hörten selten ein Geräusch aus anderen Zimmern. Der Pool sah schön aus, obwohl wir nicht schwimmen, weil sie Sonnenbäder auf einem aufgehobenen Teil des Pools hatten, der einen erstaunlichen Strand und das Meer überblickte. Es gibt ein wenig Schneid durch den Strand am Ende des Poolbereichs und es gab immer viele Betten rund um den Pool. Die Bar war groß - sie hatten einige gute Snacks und zweimal täglich glückliche Stunden für Getränke. Das Hotel war nahe an einer Reihe von Bars und Restaurants und etwa 20 Gehminuten bis zum Gap. Meine einzige kleine Frage war, dass das Hotel für die Nutzung des Zimmers sicher belastet. Es war nur 3 Barbados Dollar pro Tag, aber ich denke immer noch nicht, dass die Gäste für einen Safe in diesem Tag und Alter zahlen müssen. Wir haben für sieben Nächte im Dover Beach Hotel geblieben und werden nicht zögern, wieder zu bleiben, wenn wir in der Zukunft nach Barbados zurückkehren. Danke für einen fantastischen Urlaub.

Our favourite Caribbean island and we will be back. I think when we come next time we would definitely upgrade to a bigger apartment style room, as we looked into those and they were more spacious, bigger kitchen, living area etc. However the price we paid and the beautiful beach and sea view we had it was amazing. The bathrooms especially could do with a big refurb, re grout, remove the shower curtain and upgrade to a rainfall shower etc. If it were to be refurbished it would be 10/10 especially due to the south coast location. The hotel is on the dated side which we were fully aware of and alot of the hotels are dated when it comes to barbados, unless you are in more of a resort. The room was clean and cleaned daily which was the most important thing. As for the food and drink, we did not really eat in the hotel as we were always out exploring the beautiful island! My partner had the fish cutter from the hotel which he enjoyed! We had drinks and the rum punch which were great, we particularly recommend the smoothies. Although i didn't hear bad things about the food, we did also find it on the pricier side, considering everything is on your doorstep for cheaper. The hotel itself was very quiet but this was due to us being there off season and before the main crop over events, this made it even more peaceful for us. However im not sure how easy it would be to get a sun lounger by the pool or beach if it was full. The pool areas were lovely with sea views easily seen from both. There was no entertainment in the hotel for when we were there, but we were not expecting it as its not a resort. We wish they cleaned up some of the seaweed off the beach when we had a few days of increased seaweed. The staff are amazing at the hotel shout out to TISHA, CHANELLE, AMANDA,CHANTELLE, REGGIE ＜3. As for location this is PERFECT for the south coast, there is so much to do on the island and you do NOT need to be all inclusive in barbados. For the supermarkets there is a massey, petrol station 24hr shop, trident all within 5 minute walk away, to get food and drink for your rooms. You are 15 minute walk from the gap which obviously has all your restaurants, also 15 minute walk away from the boardwalk which has a few more restaurants. Also plenty of bus stops around for the reggae vans to go up to bridgetown or oistins for only 3.50bd. Taxis are pricier so for west coast ideally hire a car, on average was around 70bd for west coast. But hire a car to make it easier to explore the whole island if you can! Try worthing food court 5 minutes away from the hotel, amazing authentic street food! I have listed below some places to see and eat The hotel is in need of some refurbishment, the pillows we did find lumpy, the wifi was temperamental cutting in and out and the bathroom is particularly in need of updating. HOWEVER the beautiful white sand beach
