Club Med Cervinia

Initial impressions of the hotel was strong arrived at tea time which was expansive with lots of variety one thing we did not expect was the size of the place room was over 100m from the foyer and it was packed rooms were large and spacious with good views and comfy beds however we had been made to pay for an extra room despite each of them being able to hold 3 easily (there was a fold out bed in both) the opinion then went downhill from here dinner was an experience whilst the food all looked lovely and the restaurant expansive it did not taste of anything and by the end of the week was pretty repulsive we relished the one night we went down into the town for dinner The hotel is nowhere near the slopes and whilst a bus to the lifts is offered its a bit of a hassle, the boot room however was excellent, websites and staff will say you can't ski back but this is untrue The spa was poor, we had been told by the tour operator that it was free so you could imagine our surprise when we found out we had to pay a charge to buy some stupid swim caps to use the pool and sauna facilities (naughty iglu ski) even then the saunas weren't very nice all in all a disappearing experience, if you have young kids /familys then this place would probably be fine but if you're looking for luxury and quality avoid
