Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bei Ankunft fühlten wir uns sofort wie bei einem Freund. Tony unser Host, hat sich unendlich viel mühe gegeben, Landkarten, Informationen, Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück usw. // Für sein B&B hat er eine sehr große auswahl an Frühstücksgerichten, welche frisch zubereitet werden (ca. 15 Varianten). Wir waren leider nur 2 Tage da und mussten am Abreisetag schon um 07:30 weiter, für Tony kein Problem er bereitete uns ein Lunch Packet inkl. Kaffee, Saft, Obst usw. Für mich eins der besten B&B, welches wir in Großbritannien hatten. Tony, danke für die Gastfreundschaft Wolfgang

Fantastic time enjoyed our stay our hosts hospitality outstanding food was amazing 5* so quite. We have enjoyed our stay and will be back so clean , very friendly we have recommended this B B to friends

Tony is great host, nothing too much trouble. Breakfasts are lovely and filling with great choice. Lovely shower, nice touches fridge, chocolates...there are only 2 rooms so very quiet stay. If you want base for Brecon beacons then cannot recommend this highly enough

We stayed in this amazing place in order to go to the Royal Welsh show, what a find! Stayed for two nights. Beautiful room, immaculate, stylishly decorated. Tony thought of everything. Bathrobes,slippers , fridge, complimentary fruit and Prosecco , and during the heat wave there was three fans in the room for our use . L The bed was so comfortable and room very quiet . The breakfasts were amazing and walking distance from the town , where there were a good selection of bars and restaurants, we were advised by the host to try the indian restaurant, this was the best we’ve ever been to, and we love Indian food, Overall was a lovely two nights stay in a beautiful place. We will book again for next year ! Many thanks

Absolutely stunning B&B. Beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and with a wonderfully relaxing ambiance. Tony is a really welcoming host, and provides a service in line with a 5 star hotel rather than a B&B, so it comes as no surprise to learn that he has years of experience in the hospitality sector. Breakfasts are delicious and offer a very wide choice, and eating in the conservatory, admiring the delightful garden and breathtaking view towards the cathedral, we decided the best description for Swn yr Afon was luxurious. We will be back.

Absolutely loved this place the little touches that Tony the host did was amazing. He is amazing at cooking the breakfast is out of this world the food was bought locally and it showed in the flavours. It’s such a lovely romantic place to stay and we have loved it and will return ❤️

Absolutely amazing place. This B&B can not be faulted. It is only a few minutes walk into town and has a car parking area. The furniture and finishes are of a very high grade with lovely bedding, curtains, towels and toiletries. There were so so many extras tea, coffee, water, hot chocolate,chocolates, biscuits and fresh milk in a fridge in our own room. I can 't think of anything that was not available on the breakfast menu either, the availability of items on the menu was all local products, absolutely stunning food. Wonderful owner and very very accommodating

The best breakfast in all of Britain is served up in this fab B&B. Tony (and the lovely Alys!) are marvellous hosts and provide the friendliest and best facilities you could ever want. We stayed for 3 nights and cycled some of the glorious hills in the area (secure cycle storage was provided). Take panniers if you want to properly enjoy Tony's fantastic sumptuous packed-lunches ;-). Absolutely marvellous on the tops of the Epynt hills in a 25mph wind after a long climb! This is also a perfect location for exploring the town and the lovely cathedral on foot.

Looking for accomodation in Brecon? You should definitely try booking a room at Swn yr Afon, a small 5-star B&B with a beautiful garden and very tastefully furnished rooms. I stayed there for 6 days and had a wonderful time. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom modern and clean, the breakfast selection is fantastic – the perfect basis for walks in the Brecon Beacons! The B&B is run by Tony, your charming host, who really takes hospitality literally and makes you feel more than comfortable: biscuits, toffees, fruits, a mini fridge with milk for tea or coffee (Nespresso machine) – every day a little surprise and very helpful tips for restaurants or walks in Brecon - this is all rounded off by lovely Alys. Thanks, Tony!
