Every detail from the plush furnishings to the serene garden views contributed to a sense of effortless relaxation. It truly felt like a private sanctuary. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. Staff members were warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was assistance with luggage, dining recommendations, or simply a friendly check‑in to ensure everything was perfect, the team consistently delivered with professionalism and charm. The hotel grounds are equally impressive. Lush, tranquil, and meticulously maintained, they create a peaceful escape that feels worlds away from the bustle of the city. It’s the ideal setting for unwinding, whether by the pool, in the spa, or simply strolling through the gardens. Dining at Fairlawns was another highlight. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with a menu that balances creativity and comfort. Every meal felt like a treat. Overall, Fairlawns Boutique Hotel offers an exceptional blend of luxury, privacy, and heartfelt hospitality. My stay in the Villa Suite was unforgettable, and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone seeking a refined and restorative escape in Johannesburg.

Das Hotel war sicherlich einer meiner Lieblings-Reisen. Ich habe um 7 Uhr für einen Aufenthalt später dieselbe Nacht gebucht, und das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und während des gesamten Prozesses untergebracht. Die Zimmer sind unglaublich sauber und wunderschön geräumig, leicht zu den besten Hotelunterkünften, die ich während meiner Besuche in Johannesburg erlebt habe. Die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details und das Engagement für den Gastkomfort ist in allen Aspekten dieser wunderbaren Einrichtung offensichtlich. Von dem warmen Willkommen am Frontdesk bis zu den gut ausgestatteten, komfortablen Zimmern hat dieses Hotel meine Erwartungen überschritten und seine Position als einer meiner besten bevorzugten Orte, um in der Stadt zu bleiben, fester gemacht. Obwohl die Badezimmer vielleicht ein bisschen aufrüstbar sein, Ich bin sicher, dass ich bei meinen künftigen Besuchen in Johannesburg wieder in dieses Hotel zurückkehren werde.

Großer Service. Dies ist das zweite Mal, dass ich hier war. Ich beabsichtige, das zu tun, jedes Mal, wenn ich auf Johannesburg aufhöre.

Our stay at Bellgrove Guesthouse was warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The guesthouse offered a peaceful residential setting while still being conveniently located near Sandton and key amenities. The breakfast each morning was a highlight — generous portions with options ranging from full English breakfasts to lighter continental choices. The parents especially appreciated the quality and effort put into the meals. The rooms were clean, practical, and suitable for a family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed environment that made us feel safe and at ease. Transport logistics in and out were manageable via Uber, although occasional driver issues with change were noted. Overall, Bellgrove provided a homely and dependable base for the Johannesburg portion of our trip.

I loved everything about this hotel. I got drinks menu on arrival which was served free of charge, wasn’t expecting that in South Africa🤪🤪 Check in was super quicknand smooth, beautiful room with proper amenities. The hotel is in a good location sorrounded by nature. The services was 10/10, with super friendly and helful staff. I was impressed by the breakfast options and the restaurant itself….stunning and aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t like their cocktails menu🥺🥺 they don’t have classic ones. 90% of their cocktails are made with sminorf 18/18 which isn’t cool. Overall, this is a great hotel and would definitely come back!

It was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating and arranged airport pickup. The breakfast was lovely as well as room service. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Jhb. 💕❤️ The rooms were clean although amenities needed to be requested suxh as robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo etc - not really nice after a long flight. As well as water, so if this could be provided first that would make it even great.

Zunächst einmal liegt das Hotel direkt am Nelson-Mandela-Platz in Sandton, dem sichersten Viertel von Johannesburg. Daher vergebe ich die Höchstpunktzahl für die Lage. Ich habe mich während meines gesamten Aufenthalts sicher gefühlt. Und vor allem war das Personal – Rezeption, Concierge, Reinigungspersonal und Restaurant – unglaublich freundlich. Während meines viertägigen Aufenthalts wurde ich von allen Mitarbeitern herzlich empfangen. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt, und das Frühstück war jeden Morgen fantastisch. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team, das meine Reise nach Südafrika zu einem perfekten Erlebnis gemacht hat. Sollte ich jemals wieder die Gelegenheit haben, Johannesburg zu besuchen, werde ich definitiv wieder im Garden Court Sandton übernachten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich habe schon mal im Quatermain geblieben, und ich bin froh, dass die ganze Erfahrung wieder nur schön war! Ich war sehr früh am check-in-Tag angekommen und das Personal stellte sich sicher, dass ich ein Zimmer hatte, bevor die geplante check-in-Zeit gegeben war, und sie haben mich auch aufgebaut! Das Personal des Hotels ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und alles ist nur eine Freude!! Auch mit den laufenden Herausforderungen, die Ladezufuhr (geplante Stromausfälle) führt zum reibungslosen Betrieb eines jeden Geschäfts. Die Gärten sind unschön und ruhig, und es ist unglaublich zu glauben, dass Sie in der Mitte von allem mit dem Frieden und der Ruhe, die pervadiert sind. Das kleine Bistro / Restaurant-Menü ist dankbar begrenzt, da es bedeutet, dass die Qualität sichergestellt werden kann und alles, was geschmackvoll zu Hause gemacht wird. Das Abendbuffet ist sehr gut für Geld! Nur ein kleiner Hinweis, dass aufgrund von Ladeverteilung, manchmal das E-Mail/Buchungssystem einige Probleme gibt - also vergessen Sie nicht, nur nach einem Buchung :)

I stayed here for two weeks. There was daily cleaning which was great. The room was clean and cozy and had everything I could need. The hotel was simple, nothing to complain about. The staff were great and friendly all the time. Some neighbors were loud but nothing to be scared of as I felt safe at all times. Unfortunately there was construction during my whole stay, but they were friendly too and kept the dust at a minimum. It was also a 5 minute Uber to Sandton which was a plus. I would definitely stay here again, especially for a long term stay.
