Accomodation is located on a separate island, which is a gem itself - stunning shoreline, lovely park for walks, a very peaceful place which is also very safe. Great location - road connecting it to the mainland, and just 10 minutes drive from Knysna harbour with all the best eat out places around. We've been treated by Pierre, who is the most friendly and welcoming host. He has designed the place with his love for sailing and the sea in general - everything is very stylish, clean and bright. He is also originally from Belgium, which means you'll also benefit from delicious Belgium waffles as a nice desert treat for your breakfast. You can also ask him about best places to visit, not just around Knysna but all across the West Cape. And there will also be a special something for dog lovers, as there are 2 absolutely adorable labradoodles hanging around when allowed by guests, and they really love to cuddle 🤗 Wish we could stay for more, but will definitely come back next time I'll be around.

Hideaway Guest House was a lovely place to stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was great, and everything throughout my stay was excellent. The internet was also exceptionally good, which makes it a great option if you're travelling for business or need a reliable connection while away. I really enjoyed my stay and honestly couldn't fault anything. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

We had a very friendly welcome from our hostess with welcome drinks, a small snack and a scented damp refresher towel. The grounds are beautiful - lush, green and well kept. We were bumped up to a lovely room with a big balcony and view over the pool area and river. The room was very clean and neat. breakfast at the on-site restaurant was delicious and staff were friendly. (the only minus... the coffee was not hot). Another great thing is that all the activities (canoeing on the river, hiking, mashie golf, etc are included in your room fee! We would definitely visit again!!

The hotel breakfast was very good. The view was awe inspiring. The room had great coffee available. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Brown eyed manager was really patient with my grandmother and really professional. Loadshedding was a bit of a problem because in the middle of the night the generator switched of and Gran couldn't make it to the bathroom in the dark. The bathroom ventilation was a bit of a problem and the room air conditioner didn't work. For the price I would say it was reasonable but improvements can be made in terms of small helper lights on the stairs. The swimming pool is heated and looks out onto the stars which was awe inspiring to see. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The staff and cottages were amazing!!! Let's start with the (only small) negatives... the cottages are a little remote from Knysna centre so you are reliant on using Uber. There is a wonderful on-site pub, but it stops serving food quite early. Plus it is hard to get cars back after 10pm at night. Therefore, some people may be better off staying more centrally. HOWEVER, nowhere else will match the beauty and tranquility of these cottages! The perfect place to relax! Stock up from a supermarket and build a new home!

Местоположение удобное - пешком до набережной. Тихая закрытая территория, красивый сад и бассейн. Вечером хозяин зажигает свечи в саду и оставляет плед, это очень мило. Номера уютные, чистые. В номере есть холодильник, чайник и чай с кофе и молоком. Хозяин очень подробно рассказал, куда поехать, все о достопримечательностях окрестных мест, приготовил карты. Короче, не надо искать места, куда поехать, все сделал хозяин отеля. Отдельно отметим великолепные завтраки! Отличный фруктовый салат, даже с черникой в составе, йогурты, разного вида мюсли и тосты из разных сортов хлеба. Яйца, бекон, сосиски и многое другое. Безлимитный, великолепный кофе. Сам хозяин накрывает на стол! Это очень мило! Рядом с отелем есть отличная пиццерия -uptown, вкусно и не дорого. Нам все понравилось!

The facilities were clean and the room had all necessary amenities. The service was fantastic. Conveniently located and the view from the balcony was wonderful.

Amazing stay in Protea Knysna. Very good location on the waterfront. Easy access to food and the waterfront shops! Very safe and hotel is clean and good! Would recommend

Pili-Pili is a “Great location” on Shedgsfield the beach with single rooms and communal en-suite rooms available with seaviews from the balcony. Roof terrace gives you a stunning option to enjoy your pre lunch drink. Proceed downstairs to order and watch your delicious pizza (your choice of toppings) cooked in one of two wood fired ovens. Staff are all friendly and helpful I strongly recommend staying here.

Dieser Aufenthalt für mein Geburtstagswochenende reserviert. Der Service und der Concierge hielten sie sehr glücklich und waren sehr reaktiv und hilfreich. Immobilien ist wunderbar und meine Eltern genossen wirklich ihren Aufenthalt!
