Our stay at this hotel during our recent Siargao trip was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, whose friendliness, professionalism, and attentiveness made us feel comfortable throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself is newly opened, and it shows in the excellent condition and cleanliness of the property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere after long days of exploring the island. We also appreciated the quality amenities provided, which added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning location. The breathtaking sea view combined with the beautiful view of Cloud 9 created a peaceful and scenic environment that truly captured the charm of Siargao. The pool area was also very well-maintained and provided the perfect place to unwind and relax. The food served at the hotel was excellent, with delicious meals that we genuinely enjoyed throughout our stay. Every aspect of the experience reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction. Another major advantage is the hotel’s location, as it is conveniently within walking distance to Cloud 9, making it very accessible for guests who want to explore one of Siargao’s most popular attractions. Overall, we had an exceptionally pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siargao. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, beautiful scenery, excellent food, and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to the island.

Kalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal). The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us.

Place was okay for a family stay. It's not a private villa anymore since there's a restobar inside. I love the staff though, friendly and always smiling and accommodating. Place is also near establishments and you can just walk around. Cloud 9 is like less than 10 mins away. There are dogs inside which I didn't like because they could just have pooped and peed anywhere. Not ideal for kids to play on the sand. There are also pearl sellers and as much as I feel bad, it just ruins your peace and quiet as they dont stop bothering you until you buy. Overall still thinking of going back here in case there's another trip in place. :)

Basic Hotel. Zimmer war sauber. Badezimmer mit defektem Wasserhahn und Toilettensitt. Keine Hygienedusche. Boden PVC der bet auch sehr mitgenommen war. Renovierungen fanden auch an 2 Tagen statt. Das war laut. Und der Hotel-Generator der beim Stromausfall der 1 mal War hämmerte in der Nacht mehrere Stunden. Aber wenigstens hatten wir natürlich Strom. Aber an schlafen war nicht zu denken Rollervermietung direkt vom Hotel. War gut.

Ich hatte eine gute Zeit in Casavia Siargao. Die Lage ist ideal, wenn Sie auf Cloud 9 surfen wollen, können Sie dort in 5 Minuten zu Fuß gehen, und es ist viel ruhiger als General Luna, aber immer noch dicht genug, wenn Sie dort Abendessen/Party verbringen wollen. Das private Zimmer war ziemlich schön und geräumig, mit einem komfortablen Bett. Das Badezimmer könnte etwas Liebe nutzen, aber es war immer noch ok. Das Personal ist nett und immer bereit, zu helfen, und das Hostel hat mehrere soziale Nächte über eine Whatsapp Gruppe organisiert. Obwohl ich nicht an diesen Veranstaltungen teilgenommen habe, ist es eine bequeme Weise, andere Reisende zu treffen. Meine einzige Bemerkung war über den Lärm: Mein Zimmer war im sozialen Bereich oben und trotz der Zeichen, die die ruhige Zeit (22.00 Uhr) und auch eine 500PHP Geld für Leute, die es nicht respektieren, jeden Abend hatte ich Leute, die Telefonanrufe machen, Die Gitarre spielen oder laut schreien nach Mitternacht (oder später) vor meinem Zimmer und da war niemand da, um sich daran zu erinnern, die Stimme zu halten. Das war irritierend.

Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich. Es ist unvermeidlich, dass der Boden schmutzig ist, wenn man vom Surfen zurückkommt. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer und man kann den Sonnenaufgang beobachten, aber es ist voller spitzer Felsen und hat keinen Strand. Auch das Abendessen ist in Ordnung. Wer nicht auswärts essen möchte, kann auch im Hotelrestaurant essen. Eine große Gefahr hatte ich zuvor nicht erwartet: Im Hotelrestaurant gab es immer eine Band und einen DJ, aber die Lautstärke war enorm und es dauerte bis 11 Uhr oder sogar Mitternacht. Auch wenn man tagsüber vom Surfen müde ist, kann man nachts kaum einschlafen. In nur wenigen Tagen bin ich dort auf mehrere Gästewellen gestoßen, die unerträglich waren und vorzeitig ausziehen wollten. Doch die Hotelleitung wirkt betrunken und den Beschwerden der Gäste gegenüber völlig gleichgültig. Auch die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilflos. Sie trauten sich nur, mir unter vier Augen zu sagen, dass dies vorher nicht der Fall gewesen sei und dass die neue Geschäftsleitung „eine ganz wunderbare Fantasie“ gehabt habe. Außerdem ist WLAN immer vorhanden, aber nicht vorhanden

Pros: • hotel is new, they only opened last August • room was very spacious • beds, pillows, comforter were very comfortable • bathroom was very spacious with complimentary toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner • airconditioning was superb • room has a balcony (that we didn’t use) Cons • because it’s new, apparently their how shower has not been installed yet. But they provide hot water from the kitchen and will bring to the room in a pail 😂 • location is not ideal as it is a good 10-minute walk on a dirt road to get to the main tourism road • breakfast wasn’t impressive. The tapa and the tocino were tough. All in all, it’s still value for money. The entries crew were very friendly and accommodating. And I will still consider staying there next time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at POTB for six days, and despite a few minor inconveniences, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Although it was farther than expected, the hotel’s stunning surroundings and peaceful atmosphere more than made up for it. The well-maintained beach area offered a serene escape from the bustling city.In the evenings, I did encounter some occasional noise from nearby establishments. The loud music could be annoying at times, especially when seeking a peaceful ambiance. However, I found that during the majority of my stay, the hotel’s serene environment allowed me to unwind and relax, creating a balanced experience overall.I highly recommend POTB to those seeking a relaxing getaway with comfortable accommodations and impeccable service. Whether you are looking for a peaceful escape or a rejuvenating vacation, POTB is sure to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience.
